Allora il mio era palesemente non condito con aceto e zucchero come il sushi, però facendo una breve ricerca, a quanto pare si può prepararlo in entrambi i modi e c'è a chi piace più uno o l'altro, oppure anche differenze territoriali (in Hokkaido lo si condisce, a Tokyo non tanto o dipende dal posto).
Le persone pro a condirlo dicono che così puoi gustare meglio il tutto; chi invece piace il riso in bianco dice che così si assapora meglio il pesce e, specie se il riso è appena cotto e fumante, il calore fa scogliere un po' il grasso del pesce e te lo fa assaporare di più.
