Rocky was, and still is, a recluse from the very beginning. His childhood had him scarred for life. Kizzy and Kaito, who stuck by him and helped him achieve everything he wanted, were basically his family at that point. He could never get angry with them.

Kizzy is a transwoman, who very likely faced so much adversity and oppression and finding Kaito might've been her first step into loving herself and meeting Rocky literally had her joining him because he correctly gendered her and made her feel seen.

Kaito has been and is still the quiet type, probably having several issues in social situations. Meeting Kizzy and dating her must've helped him a lot, and further meeting Rocky must've made him so happy to have someone be called his friend.
