1ST STAR: CEDRICK ANDREE (OTTAWA 67’s): Cedrick Andree turned in a dazzling performance on Sportsnet, stopping all 38 shots he faced for his sixth consecutive win as the Ottawa 67’s blanked visiting Oshawa 4-0. The 67’s were outshot 38-28 but Andree stood tall, backstopping the East Division leaders to a fourth straight win.

2ND STAR: KAI EDMONDS (BARRIE COLTS): Sophomore netminder Kai Edmonds made 35 saves as the Barrie Colts defeated visiting Kingston 4-0. Edmonds’ second career shutout and first of the season improved the 18-year-old’s record to 8-8-1-0 with a 2.87 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage.

After losing in overtime the night before to the Erie Otters, the Mississauga Steelheads won the next day in a shootout over the same team. 

The Kai Edmonds decided to celebrate the same way as the Erie Otters’ goalie had the night before. 

1ST STAR: BEN HAWERCHUK (BARRIE COLTS): Overage forward Ben Hawerchuk continued a four-game point streak, scoring twice and adding an assist as the Barrie Colts took a 4-2 win in Peterborough. Hawerchuk’s third three-point game of the season helped the Colts pick up two big points, climbing to within five points of the eighth place Petes in the Eastern Conference.

2ND STAR: KAI EDMONDS (BARRIE COLTS): Sophomore netminder Kai Edmonds made 30 saves, backstopping the Barrie Colts past the Peterborough Petes 4-2 on the road. The Colts were outshot 32-17 but Edmonds stood tall, improving to 9-10-1-0 with a 3.08 goals-against average and .904 save percentage through 24 game this season.
