Simply having lower intelligence is not a mental condition like, Down's Syndrome, or Aspergers, for example. It's just...having less intelligence.Â
By directly implying that saying the word "stupid" is ableist, you call everyone with a mental disorder stupid.

People with mental disorders aren't stupid. The word stupid has been used for years specifically for people who are of less intelligence, just that. You can be incredibly talented in something and perfectly neurotypical and still be stupid.
