oh my gosh, andy! i am so immensely sorry that your ib exams have been cancelled and that there aren’t current plans for rescheduling... i think that’s complete and utter bullshit that something isn’t being done about this. you’ve spent so much time and effort in preparation for this... i can’t even imagine what you’re going through, but i empathize. i truly hope something gets done so that you and other ib takers will have the opportunity to take these exams, or at least something that would make all your labor worth all this while.

ohhh thank you so much!! and i don’t know the artworks by memory omg i wish i did!! i started this all because i found a pic of hoshi that reminded me of a painting i saw in a museum in new orleans, and then i tried to expand on that. there are some artists i’m familiar with, but for the most part i just have learned what to search for. i start with looking at official photos and photoshoots of the seventeen member, and i bookmark ones i think could have similar paintings (this is hard to explain but i look at position and color and environment mostly). then i go on pinterest to an art board i have saved and see if anything matches. i click on the most similar ones (it could be hand position, clothing color, etc.) and then scroll through the related images to see if anything matches more. sometimes i find something really quickly and other times it takes a lot longer—it just depends! as i’ve gone through the series i’ve started utilizing photo manipulation to make the pic match the painting a bit more—just for fun, so the key things i like to match in the original are composition and hair/clothing color and i can usually change the background if needed. hope that answers your question!! and thanks again :)

ive been pretty inactive too but that’s mostly bc I’m lazy shdhsh 😔 and ive been away from home a lot this summer so it’s been busy for a while but im finally doing nothing but binge watching Netflix shows and waiting for my exam results 😳 what about you bubs?
