2, 16, 19, 24 et 36 pour le fanfic writer ask
2. How do you spend your time when it comes to fanfiction? Are you primarily a fic reader, writer, or a perfect 50/50 split of both?
It depends. If Iâm on a roll, it can be 80% writing/20% reading. If inspiration drops and goes into hiding it can be 80% reading/20% writing (or less).
16. Do you research for your fics? If so, how deep of a rabbit hole have you gone down by accident when researching?
19. Do you edit your fics after you write them, or do you prefer to just hit post and run (because itâs someone elseâs problem now)?
Generally, once itâs posted, itâs posted, but if I catch like spelling mistakes on a reread Iâll go back and correct them.
24. Whatâs a trope that youâd like to never hear about as long as you live, let alone write?
Whatever the Omegaverse/ABO stuff is? Iâm not too sure but honestly I wouldnât touch that with a ten-foot pole. Which doesnât mean that itâs Bad, Actually - itâs just not my cup of tea at all.
36. Are there any fics or fandoms youâre embarrassed to have written or been part of?
I am a liiiiiittle bit self-conscious that the first ever story I finished (even before knowing the word âfanfictionâ) was a Titanic self-insert because I had a crush on Fabrizio (he had kind eyes and a lovely smile and I loved his voice in the French dub). Everything happened as it did in the film, but whooboy, it was bad đ
Iâm still fond of it, though. Too bad I only wrote it on paper and it didnât survive my moving in and out of flats since 1998.
