mmmmmmmmmmm yes i think that first kiss was really a before and after for them, in tgg they were kinda circling each other and wanting but also trying not to want to know each other and get close, they were skirting the line but that kiss was crossing that line. and that made things in glorious rivals more vulnerable but also somehow more comfortable? since they were now more aware of the other's feelings and more free to show their own. and it was all more earnest, there was less pretense and repression. it was very special i loved reading glorious rivals <33333
