75: Mr Mom by Lonestar: I've loved this one for YEARS -- like since sometime in my early/middle childhood; it's one of my mom's favorites too. I remember being little and thinking "Pampers melt in the Maytag dryer" was the funniest lyric I'd ever heard. As for 2023 in particular, I'm toying around with an idea that hasn't made it off the ground yet, but definitely led to some time with this song on loop.

9. What sounds or scents calm you down?

I always love a floral scent: Rose, lavender, eucalyptus, so on and so forth.

As for sounds, it depends on why I'm not calm in the first place. At night, there's always something playing on my TV, some sitcom at a low murmur to soothe me to sleep. If I'm actively stressed, it's a lot of show tunes or standup comedy to distract myself. And there's always something really comforting about the Bobby Darin song "Mack the Knife," since that's what my dad sang to me when I was a baby.
