• like he’ll untangle your headphones for you or fix your sleeve and pretend it’s not a big deal

• he won’t say “i miss you,” but he’ll randomly be like “so when are you coming over”

• he doesn’t post about you, but his phone background is a blurry pic of you he took when you weren’t looking

• always walking just a little slower so you don’t fall behind

• gives you his hoodie and acts like he forgot about it but definitely didn’t

• whenever you talk he’s just sitting there staring at you like he’s watching a movie

• late night FaceTime calls where he’s just laying there listening to your voice half-asleep

• texting you “look” and then sending a photo of the sky, or a cat, or his shoes

• casually brings up things you said weeks ago and pretends like it’s not a big deal

• he doesn’t like holding hands in public but if your hands are cold, he’ll hold them without saying anything

• gets so quiet when you compliment him and then tries to brush it off with a joke

• he’s not big on words but always shows up when you need him

• tries to act cool in front of people but turns soft immediately if you say his name a certain way

• always has an extra charger, gum, or hoodie in his bag and says “it’s not for you” but it’s obviously for you

• if you’re sad he won’t ask what’s wrong, he’ll just be like “you wanna come sit by me?”

• listens to the songs you send him and memorizes the lyrics without saying anything

• never says “i love you” first but always replies fast when you say it

• sits next to you on the couch and slowly leans until you’re sharing the same blanket

• will sit next to you in complete silence but somehow it feels better than anything else
