Godliness: impossible or attainable?
Can I really live a voctorious life? (2 peter 1:3-4)
It is attainable because his divine power has given us everything that we need to be godly.. Godliness- a kind of life that is so dedicatedin loving, obeying, trusting, and serving God. - doesn't mean being perfect but loving God, obeying, trusting, and serving Him.
Can we serve God even when doing secular job?
*** He gave us His son, Jesus
1) destroyed the power of evil. (Colossians2:15) ; 2) destroyed the power of sin(1 cor.15:56-57) 3) brought new life to us (2 cor 5:17)
*** He gave us his preciousand very great promises. 1) God's power,love, and wisdom are displayed through his promises. - to forgive usand cleanse us from sin. (1 john 1:9) - to strengthen us (phil 4:13) - to provide our needs (phil 4:19) How do we handle our finances? We must be doing something wrong. We must set aside what is for God. Give God what is due him. - to be with us all the time ( heb. ) - of victory in times of temptation(1 cor. 10:13) - comfort in affliction (2 cor. 1:3) /holy spirit/ - to bless us when we give our tithes and offerings cheerfully and generously ( malachi 3:10; 2 cor. 9:8 - to return totake us to be with him (john 14:3)

* faith * virtue - kabutihan in your deeds and life * knowledge - attend sunday school, read your bible * self-control * steadfastness * godliness * brotherly affection always affects our testimony --you forgive them even if they are not asking for it. Let his wrong doing go. Humility. Our thinking and hearts should be Christ-like. For if not, the Lord will not bless me. Thereis a blessing in forgiveness. * love - God is seen in our love for people.
