i honestly don't understand how other people don't see his insane stats and his calm sweet face and the things other drivers say about him without wanting to immediately inhale his entire career.

in some ways it's a shame that he never got a fair shake at f1 to prove his mettle on the world stage. but for one thing, well, he's clearly happy with the life he has both on and off the track. but more importantly, to my mind it's a credit to indycar as a series and, due respect to the other drivers, i'm sure he's helped raise standards and the level of competition and he's done so for many years and at the age of 42 he's not close to being done!

none of this is a surprise, but might as well expose myself further HA

Never Be Alone - How do you spend your days off when you have nothing to do?

i hate sitting still for too long so i tend to be doing a lot when i have free days. usually it’s things i enjoy like writing, reading or sitting outside in the sun, and some self care like watching shows that make me feel good or going on a walk and listening to music which probably leads to a dance party. really just try to make everyday full of fun and when i have nothing to do, i find something to keep me busy haha!

the 1 by taylor swift (SO good), ribs by lorde (going through the usual rediscovery of her music) and mariposa by peach tree rascals (thanks for that one tiktok)

This Is What It Takes - How do you take your coffee? Or tea? Both?

it really depends where i’m getting it from! i only drink iced coffee so from starbucks it’s always vanilla sweetened and at dunkin, it’s blueberry with milk and sugar. i LOVE love love tea so iced or hot, i’ll try any flavor and usually always have it sweetened except for when i make it at home which is when i sometimes don’t put anything in it.

Ruin - Name a feeling or a smell or a place that makes a specific person cross your mind.

okay so there’s this boy, who i swear was my first real love, and i can’t explain how it feels but there will be moment that’s unfolding and i’m experiencing usually full of happiness that will make me think “oh wow, this is something he would really like and i can’t wait to tell him”. it happens every so often but that happiness is always connected to him in some way even now

Roses - Do you have any plants or flowers in your room/house?

yes! i’m such a proud plant mom! inside, i have my little cactus (which i grew from a seed and is a real cactus now!) and my spider plant that one of my cats unfortunately ate ALL of, but don’t worry, it’s growing back. and outside, i always plant and grow lillies in the spring and my bunches of sunflowers which just bloomed this week actually!

Fallin’ All In You - Sunrise or sunset? Summer or winter? Mid-afternoon naps alone or with a person you care about?

too hard to choose so both sunrise and sunset. summer. and mid-afternoon naps with a person i care about if i ever have boy to cuddle lol

another emoji i love is the 💛! it reminds me of sunshine and when i’m happy, the yellow heart looks how my heart feels so it makes me all warm seeing it and the color yellow is my favorite so!

IF I CAN’T HAVE YOU DESERVED THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD AND WAS TOTALLY OVERLOOKED WHICH STILL MAKES ME MAD. YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE (i’m extremely passionate about this one, iichy was paid DUST)

also, even though a lot of people don’t like it apparently??, youth!! the message is so so important and with the moving music video paired wifh the song, it wasn’t given the recognition it deserved! plus that song means a lot to me

Satisfied - Is there an ending to a book/film/tv show that left you unsatisfied

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER!! i spent a whole year watching this show (yes it took me that long to watch the whole series, don’t ask me why) and the ending?? was the absolute worst?? i couldn’t believe after NINE SEASONS, the writers thought ending it like that was a good idea. still furious about it to this day.

there have been a few books that have left me the same way but most recently the one that comes to mind is the last book in the red queen series. i remember screaming at @lights-on-mendes because of that ending, even though i got closure with the later companion book, but ohmygod. that ending left me hanging and i did not like it one bit
