I'm still in shock that a couple days ago I witnessed the death of a man who was detained, on the ground, not resisting in any way shape or form, begging and pleading for his life not to be taken away. The systemic racism embedded in this nation needed to come to an end a long time ago. As a black man of direct African decent, who migrated to this country, I have experienced racism here first hand. It's not fun. It's scary. It's confusing. And it needs to stop. Especially from my fellow Christians. That's right. Most, if not all my encounters have been with people who say they are Christians. Now, no one is perfect. And I've heard accounts of Christians who were called out for their racism, accept their way of thinking was wrong and change. Unfortunately, I've seen others do the opposite and even hear kids make excuses for their parents saying "their just stuck in their ways". Wrong is wrong. These officers were in the wrong. And for those who say they are Christians, keep your fellow brother in check. There should be no reason why racism should exist in the church. Period. #worshippastorchronicles #justicforgeorgefloyd https://www.instagram.com/p/CAt4CO1l8a7/?igshid=1eg1lpvjwmy4j
