MALFICA!!! both her and Samithella (she is a moth!!!) do NOT work within the lore but I needed me some lesbian bugs! but uhm! Malfica is a queen bee who didn't get taken by the Radiance somehow (don't think about how) and went to live in Dirtmouth with Sami, who helps make better armor and capes for Little Ghost! and Sami is uh! autistic nonverbal and sewing is her special interest and has little bells on her own little shoulder cape thingy bc she likes the noise it makes and Malfica is like a Warrior queen/princess and like making weapons, but not often bc it likes spending time being around Sami and plays like a little pan flute n stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Itās a green horse, which I found by doing a Google image search forĀ āgreen horseā in September 2014.
Why did I want to change my avatar to a green horse?Ā A tumblr mutual had a dream involving me, but sheād never seen a picture of me, and her brainĀ decided to make me look like aĀ ābright green talking horse.ā
I thought itād be funny to change my avatar in response.Ā Iāve kept the avatar ever since.
(On a completely [?] unrelated note, that tumblr mutual and I are married now.)

Itās a painting by someone who goes by doni19 on Flickr, part of a whole series of colored horse paintings.
Iām ashamed to say this, but I literally learned that twenty minutes ago.Ā When I found the picture originally, it seemed to only exist on a bunch of webpages explaining color theory, none of which credited the artist.
If I had known Iād keep this avatar for 6+ years, maybe I would have looked harder for its source so I could give proper credit, but I thought of it as a dumb joke I would probably keep for a week at most.Ā Then I got used to it, and stopped thinking of it as a painting unto itself, or anything except just āmy avatar.ā
Your ask made me go back to Google Images and dig a little harder, and now I know!Ā Iāve added a credit to the nav bar on top of my blog.
(Hmm, I canāt remember if that nav bar is even visible on mobile . . . if not, I should maybe move it to the normal description area)
