I heard Jupiter Calling
š¶...I heard Jupiter Calling, connecting into the night I heard Jupiter Calling, and I saw the stars were falling...š¶
The above are the chorus lyrics of Per Gessleās song āJupiter Callingā but guess what? Iām not talking about Per Gessleās āJupiter Callingā in this reference tonight. No sir! Iām actually trying to tell that I literally heard āJupiter Callingā.
Iād ask you to google āJupiter Callingā and youāre most probably not gonna see any link in the first page which gives a little account of Perās song.
Times have changed. If you type in āJupiter Calling, youāre gonna see this new album by The Corrs with this title. The album got released on the 10th of November, 2017 and it reached me on the 19th of November, 2017.
What a year, Per released his albums, Marie her singles, the Cranberries released their album and finally The Corrs also released an album - my most favourite musical people have been pretty active. Yay!
The Corrs came out with an album in 2015 called āWhite Lightā. I liked that album a lot, but it got pretty electronic at times. Then came āJupiter Callingā after 2 years and it is pretty much the opposite of their āWhite Lightā album. Jupiter Calling is a very mature, very relaxed, very organic album with very grownup approach, both musically and lyrically.
Itās a nice and likeable album for people who want to listen to music and donāt want to party hard.
It obviously reminded me a little bit of my Roxette experience.
Roxette is mostly Perās music and garnished well with Marieās amazing talent.
Good Karma is majorly electronic music.
Perās āEn vacker nattā and āEn vacker dagā are organic pieces.
What I mean to say is that GK seems rushed compared to EVN/EVD. Do you get what Iām trying to say here.
Iām hoping you do!
Love and Peace
