Junkan Month 2025 - Day 1: Start
Happy Junkan Month everybody! It's so nice to see our niche little ship of despair get enough support to pull something off like that. While I likely won't be writing for the themes, trying to come up with matching stuff is a bit too much for me at the moment, that doesn't mean I won't be taking part.
To start with Day 1's theme of "Start" here's the proper start/intro of my big Junkan fic: Danganronpa IF: Revival Remix set to the vastly underrated 'Now or Never' by M-Flo and Chemistry. While I wish I was a proper artist to include more custom shots from the actual story, I'm so proud of how this turned out.
The piece of art in the thumbnail and end of video was done by my dear friend @saintlyrena! Please consider checking out her art and possibly commissioning her yourself! She does great art at great prices! And hey, if you liked this video, maybe consider checking the story itself out and leaving your thoughts? Feedback and opinions on my work all means a lot to me, and while they likely won't relate to the event's themes, it's still me showing my love for Junkan all month long! For 2025 at least! Thank ya'll so much for keeping an eye on this blog as Junkan Month has run it's course, whether you participated or just wanted to see the various art pieces and fanfic submissions, it's been a great time. I've said previously that I currently have no plans of running a second Junkan Month in the future, as I am personally just too busy to manage that and I'm the type of girl who refuses to not participate in her own events. That said you can of course look forward to Junkan Week in 2026! I haven't worked out an exact time frame for it. Originally I planned on it taking place during February like last year, but given that Femslash February is a thing it's probably best not to overload people who might wanna do both. That said the original prompt list will always be here, so if you ever want to challenge yourself, or maybe kill 30 days of time then feel free to dig it up and make use of it! Just be sure to tag the account! By the end of December I'll try to have not just a proper date announcement for the event, but also the full prompt list! And don't worry, just like last year we'll be providing at least two Prompt Lists for those of you who want to write or draw some of your soft, fluffy ideas, or your tantalizingly twisted and toxic indulgences! I will also be trying to provide another AU Prompt List option as well, and hey if I feel really silly I might even try to come up with a 4th bonus prompt list of some kind for the sake of MAXIMUM OPTIONS! We'll see! I got a month to plan it out lol. And I guess once Junkan Week passes, well. That's it for the year! I still don't exactly know what my plan is for this blog really even after a year or so of activity. The most i've thought is that I should probably at the very least go back and make a specific tag for the original 100 Days project as to make it easier to find all of them now that we've got plenty of art for the Shipping Events. I've also considered restructuring this to a blog that is just broadly focused on Junkan, but i'm unsure on that at the moment for personal, if not a tad selfish reasons which i'll be keeping to myself for now. I'm sure i'll figure it out though! Till then, I hope ya'll enjoyed Junkan Month, and if you just found the blog, have fun scrolling through all of it!
