ND AND. my first thought was “holy shit that would make such a cool ass node in roblox pressure” right????

So what did I do??? I went ahead and drew a concept for a roblox pressure node inspired by them.

Its not very good and I couldn't recreate the art/design style really well + nor did I have the right brushes to even do so + nor am I used to drawing in this painterly style (or horror/scary stuff for that matter) + NOR I DID I EVEN FINISH SO ITS STILL A WIP BUT LIKE

And thats cool and all but TODAY I WAS A WATCHING YOUTUBE VIDEO ABOUT PRESSURE MYTHS AND LIKE???? I FOUND OUT PIPSQEAK EXISTS????? The images below official in game sprites and are hashtag not my art (also good time to note that the 6 sillies on the side of the first image above this paragraph are also official sprites and are ALSO hashtag not my art- I was using them as style reference)

Honestly I hope the watermarks aren't too bothersome (im actually kinda proud of this and would hate to see someone steal it) but yeye!!!

This one is actually based off the telescope fish, who in my opinion looks fittingly horrifying enough to get a pressure node based offa it

Again it's far from perfect but I think ive improved since last time! this time I did little sketch things which I then drew over and cleaned up and such into the final product- which I think helped a TON

And alright, now that all of that stuff is over with, its time for my thoughts on this. Overall, I like it. Only major issue I have with it is the little fin lookin things- I like how in the “moving” mode they look like stereotypical grandpa hair because ngl the telescope fish DOES give me major stereotypical grandpa vibes + I do like how they point downwards in the “spotted player” state thing.……. However I definitely struggled to draw them, made them look WAYYY to fluffy, and they changed lengths between sprites. Honestly I guess I just dont like how much I accidentally straight up changed the design between the sprite ngl. And then ofc theres some other minor issues. But the concept is cool and its executed relatively fine, esp for my second time drawing a fan made node lol. I guess im mostly proud of the improvement????

As for the name or how its mechanic would even work in game and whatnot, honestly I have no idea. It was def inspired by pipsqueak (one of the actual in game nodes) and a bit of pandemonium- and I obviously feel like the sprite without the eyes would be the “moving” sprite and then the one with the open mouth/eyes would be the “player spotted” sprite (as I briefly mentioned before). But then like?????? Wouldn't it just be a knockoff pandemonium???? I am NOT creative when it comes to unique mechanics lmao. And then as I already said, I have NO idea what to name my guy.

Okay so like idk if many of yall know this considering ive only been posting my art but umm im an amateur electronic music maker thingymabob and also a singer and like sometimes I make songs and covers and what not

But anyways I was thinking about doing a cover of chonny jash’s The Soul Ecletic. Which is his own cool little cover thing of Miracle Musical’s The Mind Electric

But I can't find any instrumentals from stuff he's posted (videos, links, etc)… and maybe im just stupid and they ARE publically available... But im too scared to use any instrumentals of his that some random Joe posted in case his instrumentals ARENT actually publically available and he doesn't want people using them n stuff

So I decided to make my own arrangement!!!! And I figured “its my arrangement, I can choose the key!!”… and my fav key is f minor for some reason- so I was gonna use that. But like… I decided to use F major instead because idk man the soul eclectic is very LOUD and upbeat and idk my brain just went “make it be major, save the f minor key for The Heart Accoustic” (diff cover of The Mind Electric by miracle musical). Cause like. If I make chonny’s the heart acoustic be F minor then I can make chonny’s the mind electric be A major or something and then make the soul eclectic play into its name (eclectic = pulling from a large variety of sources) and be f major (f from the f minor and major from the a major) and yeah Ummm average Junior//Random logic moment yeah

But ANYWAYS thats how I learned that putting hit Miracle Musical song The Mind Electric in to the key of F major sounds so unbelievably wrong and off key that its concerning so um dont follow in my footsteps guys. Also doesn't help that im doing it by ear straight into the key instead of like actually putting the right notes in the right key and THEN making it a different key. (im using a sheet music app so it automatically puts me in a key) Um.
