Junie saw Dr. A on Wednesday and it was love at first sight of course! Junie is so well behaved. She is heartworm negative, received all her shots and is up to date and was previously spayed. She does have glaucoma in her right eye but not in her left yet. She has started medicine to help keep it from advancing so quickly. She also had a blood panel done and is in renal failure. She will be starting medicine for that and a specialty diet. Being 14 and not really ever having any vet care I am surprised she is not worse. So we will work with the outcome of the visit. Our goal will be to keep her as healthy as possible! She already has a very happy heart!! Junie amd I came out to the couch together. She woke up really early and needed some snuggling. Who could say no to this little peanut? She is a total lovebug and loves to give kisses. Welcome, Mollie to the pack! We just got back to the sanctuary and she has met all her new siblings! She is doing wonderful and quite the sweet peanut! She has already been testing all the beds out! I'm sure deciding which one is the comfiest. Miss Mollie is now renamed to Junior Mint! We will call her Junie! She is completely deaf and will not know the difference. Since we already have Molly it will make things easier! This sweetheart turns out to not be spayed. She has not had any vetting and has many issues to get checked out.
