No fairies in this, but there is a queen. This powerful painting is by @artbywak and captures the essence of Juneteenth without words. I hope he is getting recognition. Juneteenth should be a national holiday - and obviously a WHOLE LOT of other things should happen too, like reparations, like no more police immunity, and the list goes on. Don't stop educating yourself about real Black history just because it's not trending as much. So we didn't learn about Juneteenth in school, we need to learn about it now and make sure history isn't whitewashed anymore.
