U.S. SBA Granted Grace Period to Accept Late Applications
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has been granted a 60-day grace period and is currently acceptingĀ late disaster relief applicationsĀ for theĀ June flooding disaster in West Virginia,Ā even though the official filing deadline has passed (Oct 3rd). The SBA encourages businesses of any size, nonprofits/private organizations, homeowners, and renters to continue to apply during the 60-day grace period, which ends onĀ Dec 3rd, 2025.Ā Ā AfterĀ Dec 3rd, 2025, applicants will have to provide an explanation with their application as to why they missed the deadline. Eligible businesses, homeownersā renters, and nonprofits mayĀ still apply for assistance through the SBA portal atĀ https://lending.sba.govor visit sba.gov or call 1-800-659-2955.
