Has there been any improvement in public opinion about Errors, or is it still rough going?

It is! I currently run monthly in person meetings and also am generally available on a case to case basis. The most common cases we have are folk who’ve survived AU destruction or corruption, but ended up void touched in the process. We also have some people who’ve wandered the Mutliverse and ended up unlucky. Full void exposure…… it’s rare. I get the pleasure of being special!

…Ahem.

That is to say that full errors— like myself— are a rarity. Most usually have limbs changed, but mental symptoms present, just not as severe. Some remain wholly physically unchanged just for apparent glitches and mental symptoms.

Public opinion… I’d say it’s gotten a little better! Maybe. Somewhat. Kinda. The thing is that since for most people it’s not that physically apparent? So a lot don’t make the immediate connection to Mr. Murderer killed your whole family and world.

For me, I still get uh. Mistaken sometimes. But it’s usually cleared up pretty fast. I’ve just gotten used to making people feel scared and uneasy. Just kinda my thing now. Whoops!

Oh that is a funny story. So, one of my regulars is a furry-- which is only important because he, like, never takes the suit off. Which, might read as a little disrespectful to animal monsters, if he weren't a boss monster himself. But, anyway.

I remember... it was back before we were dating I think? Night was in the shop when my regular came in. All fine and good. Everything went normal. But, when I looked to check on Night after he left, he was tentacles on edge. Puffed up. Kitty style. It was as cute as it was absolutely frightening. I was fine though because if I died from tentacle suffocation, so be it! I'd accept my fate. I then approached even if I probably shouldn't have. Somehow I didn't die. Somehow.

...It was one of the first times I've seen him properly scared. I knew something wasn't right, so I got him back into the home. Tea-ed him up. I tried asking him what was wrong-- I was afraid he might have had history with my regular. But, that wasn't the case. He eventually calmed down but he didn't explain anymore. I decided to leave it be.

And then... I think it was soon after we started dating. We were on a late night walk in the OT. And, we just so happened to run into that regular. Fur suit immaculate even within the darkness. The conversation was nice. Quick. But, like before, Night got scared. Tentacles out. Puffed up. Shaking. I talked to him after-- now with the knowledge and power that I could be a bit pushy with him, as are my boyfriend perks-- and he admitted that it was... the costume?

Apparently its supppper uncanny to feel that an aura that is smaller or bigger than the person's physical form. It has something to do with a fear of shapeshifters I think? Other fae. He just rolled his eyes when I reminded him that he's a fae shapeshifter, though.

Oh! It's been a bit of time since I've seen Killer or Horror. Dust's fun though. We don't exactly talk much but he Does kick my ass on online chess. He's spending most of his time looking after the castle.

Honestly... I am a little surprised that he stayed? But, I don't know. It seems like he likes it there. Maybe if we talked more, I'd know more of his motivations. But, it seems fine as is. Crazy does well with crazy.

Horror and me never really talked much. He seemed... fine? A little scared of me. But most are.

So, the thing about Night is he never really asks for things? Or, hmmm..... He's less likely to ask for something if it's intimate or romantic, and even less likely if it has to do with his own wants or desires.

Like-- for example. Say he wants to be kissed or held. He won't directly ask for it. But, he may insinuate that he wants it. Or just look at me with a reallllyyyyyy pathetic look. It's cute. Sometimes I have to figure out if its his 'You chewed on my tentacle and barked at me when I told you to stop so now I'm pissy at you' look, or his 'I desire you. Carnally' look.

I noticed he liked the armor... when we were just friends I think? He asked me a lot of questions about just the light getup I do for scavenging. And, well, when I showed off my full set-- I swear he was like a kid on gyftmas!

...I feel like it was a risky move putting it on for him to cheer him up a few weeks post arrow-in-socket. I mean-- the reason he liked it before could have just been the sight of it. Which. Y'know. Not really a thing now. But... he was happy to touch. And smell. And--

What's your favorite part of treasure hunting?

This might sound a little on the nose, but I enjoyed the idea of giving forgotten items a second chance. Nothing deserves to be left behind, after all.

There's a lot of AUs that have been left half destroyed-- for all, uh, he brags about, he kinda isn't great at his job. So, a lot gets left behind. Other than that, there's typical Multiverse corruption. Desire infestations. Attempted colonization. There's quite a few reasons why an AU, and whats in it, may be left abandoned.

While the main thing I do is treasure hunt, I'm always on the lookout for folk who may be have had void contact due to destruction/corruption. I've got a kinda glitch sense going on. Crazy attracts crazy, y'know? I'm there to grab what I can and flag anything suspicious.

It's fun! I like exploring and finding new areas and things. Sometimes I get to taste an ancient ruin. Sometimes I get to mess with a bunch of Multiverse pirates. I'm never bored! It's all in good fun.

Hmmmm… it is something I’ve thought about. The thing is I am always just a step away from him at the moment. They’d have to get through me before him.

I know what it’s like to have dust on my hands.

Oh— yes! I learned during the phone call post with Dream, uh, incident. He knows about me and Night, and I know about him and Ink.

It’s… it makes sense? I never actually saw them together all too often— if they were coming to visit me, it would usually be separately. They talked about each other, though. It… it was sweet. I see it. I understand the vision.

I do hope that Ink recovers from dying!

…Dream hasn’t been doing too well, from what I’ve seen. Which isn’t a lot.
