I do sincerely believe in dom leaning Dream and sub leaning Ink HOWEVER ! I do not agree with the most common interpretations of that within the fandom. Ink would find comfort in submission because it would be a safe way to explore the feeling of being unconditionally wanted for who he truly is--him being chosen Even when he's pushing buttons and exerting all of his flaws. It would be about feeling as if he has a Role and place. Dream on the other hand would enjoy dominance because it allows him to be appreciated for what he wants, rather than what he can give. even if sometimes what he wants is to give. It would be the safety in knowing that even when he's being greedy/selfish (how he perceives it), he's still wanted. For the both of them, it would be about the feeling of agency and the safety of being their true selves. I can see them mixing up the roles/not always engaging in the kind of play. but anyway thats my speech thanks you
