dr1 specifically is a fucking terrible game outside of the music (and aspects of the UI) and the fact that people have media taste that bad past the age of like 16? is hysterical
and for the record I don't mean like. the shit with chihiro or anything. thats also bad but isn't what I mean. i mean the entire plot is shitty and lazy and it fails at even being an interesting detective story. i may have known a lot of the plot going in for dr1 specifically but if a detective story is Good, even if you know literally every spoiler its engaging. dr1 was an absolute fucking slog and im a person who plays 50 hour games in the span of a week if i like them
