Here lately, Julius had been getting under your skin a lot more than usual. You weren’t sure why but he would purposely mess everything up so you would scold him. It often left in a yelling match, but you being the only one yelling at him. Typically he would apologize for angering you. But this time has hadn’t, in fact he had that stupid goofy grin on his face as you stared at your notebook, that had drawings in it. He had ‘accidentally’ spilled water all over it. You were waiting for a sincere apology but it never came. 

“Julius what the fuck!?” You tried to save your drawings but it was no use all of the colors, and ink had ran and the paper was completely messed up. It had some of your best work in there. Julius realized he messed up this time, seeing the way you looked.

“(Y/N) I am sorry I ju~”

“I HATE YOU! You are always doing stupid things! I wish, I wish you would just disappear and never talk to me!” You yelled at him, and this time you actually had tears in your eyes. That’s when he realized, this time he went too far. 

“(Y/N)…” You didn’t stay to listen to him, by pushing past him. He watched you leave and frowned slightly, he didn’t mean to make you angry. Honestly, the only reason he continued to mess with you was because he wanted your attention. He had a huge crush on you, no it was more that he loved you. He loved how you always kept him on track, you grounded him. He needed and wanted you to be his, so he could hold you. 

He walked back to his office sighing, he decided instead of causing you and Marx trouble, he would get his work done. The words you said, stung him a bit, but he knew he was being exceptionally annoying the past few weeks. Doing things that would anger you. When he walked back, he saw your notebook out drying. You were still trying to save the work, he looked around before holding the notebook. He used his magic and caused the notebook to go back before he spilled water on it. He left a small note for you, before going to his office. 

When you came out from grabbing a small snack, you looked at your notebook and saw that it was back to normal. You thank the heavens because you were going to be so depressed if it all was ruined. You picked it up, before seeing the small note. 

‘(Y/N), I am so so sorry. I was out of line, and should have never did that. I am sorry that I have been so annoying, that I angered you the past few weeks. I truly mean it, I hope you forgive me. I only did it, because I wanted your attention. Truth is… I love you, more than anything in the world. I guess, I got a little jealous always seeing you with Marx and the Magic Knight captains. I thought maybe if I annoyed you, you would give me some of your attention too. I realized I was wrong. I hope you accept my apology. I won’t bother you anymore, I promise. I will do what I am suppose to do too, so I don’t cause you problem.

P.S. Oh, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have to bother me. Please bother me all you want! I want your attention, but I don’t want to annoy you. So if you want to visit me come anytime of day.’

You couldn’t stop smiling at the note, your face was flushed a bright red. You held your notebook to your chest, but it soon fell when you realized the awful things you said. You went to his office before knocking on the door. 

“Can it wait? I am busy doing paperwork…” Julius said, and you smiled.

“I can come back later…”

“(Y/N) COME IN!” You heard scrambling around before he opened the door and he looked at you suprised. 

“Sorry, I thought…” You leaned up and kissed his cheek, causing the Wizard King to blush a bright red. 

“I forgive you, only if you forgive me for saying the awful things. This notebook has some of the best drawings and I thought they were ruined. I didn’t mean what I said.” 

“You…didn’t?” You shook your head and he pulled you into his office locking the door.

“I am glad, I know I crossed the line.” He said looking down.

“It’s okay, also… I love you too Julius.”

“Wait really?”

“Yeah, I just figured you didn’t want to date because you were the Wizard King and always busy.” He wrapped his arms around you tightly and blushed. 

“Be my girlfriend, please. I do want to one day Marry you. You keep me grounded in a way no one else can.” He said and you couldn’t stop hiding the smile on your face. You looked at the notebook before taking a deep breath.

“Do you want to know why this notebook has some of the best drawings?” He tilted his head, he had wished you would have answered his question. But he was also very curious as to why it was so important to you. He nodded his head and you opened the notebook to the first drawing. It was of Julius, when you guys first met. The more you turned the pages, the more he realized it was of him, or of him and you. Some were of you two holding hands, even though it never happened, sharing a sweet kiss, the drawings were perfect images of what he wanted his future to be.

“These are of me, or us…” He said and you stepped closer and pressed your lips to his gently.

“I would love to be your girlfriend, and one day get married. I love you so much Julius.” You said against his lips and he sighed softly wrapping his arms tightly around you with that wide smile. 

“I love you so so so much.” He kept pressing his lips to yours in sweet innocent kisses. 

“Okay, time for you to get back to work.”

“Really? You are going to ruin the moment.”

“Ah ah ah…. get to work…” You said and he sighed softly going back to his desk.

“Fine, only because I love you.”

“It should be because you are the Wizard King.”

“She can’t see me like this Marx…” 

“Calm down Sir Julius…” 

“I can’t, I am so… ugh… I am so so….”

“Small? Adorable? Will be a less of a pain in the ass to (Y/N)?” Yami asked and Julius stared at him.

“That’s mean…” 

“I am just saying…” Yami said taking another hit of his cigarette as if the universe was on his side you walked through the door.

“You called me Marx~” You trailed off seeing Julius tiny, it was silent as everyone was waiting for your response. 

“Hey (Y/N)…” He said waving and you snapped out of it, before trying to contain your laughter.

“Pfft….” 

“Don’t laugh…” 

“I-I’m not laughing… you are just so… tiny…” You said walking to him and pinching his cheeks.

“Shush…”

“So cute…” You gushed and the Wizard King perked up at that and smiled.

“So you will go on a date with me since I am cute?”

“Pfft hahahahahaha no… I didn’t go on a date with you when you were adult what makes you think I would go on a date with a 13 year old…” You said holding your stomach and his smile turned into a frown.

“It’s not funny.”

“You are totally right, but yeah… no chance.”

“Its slimmer then it was before isn’t it?”

“Well at least when you were an adult and looked your age you had about 5% chance now you have 0 chances. None, zip zap. Sorry.” You said patting his head. He looked at Marx defeated and you actually felt kinda bad. 

“On the plus side, I get to babysi~ watch~ keep an eye on you. So you I can’t avoid you like I did before.” 

“Wait you purposely avoided me?” 

“Uh…anyway…candy?” You offered and Julius looked at you before holding out his hand.

“Smooth (Y/N).”

“Shut up Yami…” You said and he raised his hands as you shot him a glare. Everyone left, and Marx patted Julius’s and you shoulder before leaving. You looked at the closed door before at Julius and he wrapped his arms around you.

“Uh Julius?” 

“I am sorry…” 

“For?” 

“Everything.” 

“I don’t understand.” 

“I just feel like this has became a bother for you.”

“You have always been a bother, this is nothing new Julius.” You said and he frowned slightly and you realized how that sounded.

“I see…”

“I didn’t mean it like that…” You said wrapping him in a hug. He blinked and blushed but hugged you tightly.

“Do I really bother you that much?” 

“I mean yeah, but I don’t mind it.”

“Really?”

“I cried when I thought you died. Of course …” Julius looked at you shocked and you looked away from him and sat on the couch. He walked and sat beside you and wrapped his arms around you.

“I am sorry I worried you.”

“When don’t you worry me? You stress me and Marx out.” You teased and he huffed but cuddled into you. You held him into your chest and kissed the top of his head, you didn’t notice but he had a small blush and smiled widely. 

“Well now, you can keep an eye on me all the time.” 

“I have no choice too, you went form being one of the strongest wizards to well… this.” You motioned and he huffed.

“Wow… insult me why don’t you.” 

“Gah you are so adorable when you pout…” You said squishing his cheeks and he smiled. 

“I love you (Y/N).”

“Uh huh, sure… love ya too.” You said and he knew you meant it platonically just like you knew he was serious. 

“I can accept that, even though you have no true feelings for me.”

“You have no choice. I refuse to date a 13 year old.” 

“You wouldn’t have dated me either way.”

“I mean…”

“You just said…” 

“Shhhh, no need to discuss it now.” You pet his hair and he huffed.

“Such a cinnamon roll and my heart can’t handle the cuteness.”

“I can’t tell if I like this or not.”

“You should, now you get to have me fawn over you.”

“Well, there is that… you would have never done these things if I was my original age and size.” 

“Exactly…” You said nuzzling his hair and he relaxed against you. You hummed slightly holding him tightly.

“So how much can I get away with?” He asked and you flicked his side.

“Not much…” 

“Awe…” You kissed the top of his head before laying on the couch and pulling him on top. 

“Little Cinnamon Roll, that’s your new nickname.”

“I can deal with that, but in return you got to always give me cuddles and small kisses.” 

“Hmmm okay, but in return I get to call you that in front of the magic knights.” 

“WHAT?”

“AH Ah ah …. deal?”

“…fine…”

You stared blankly at the Grey Deer’s captain, he was way to excited and had stars in his eyes. He was trying to get you to join his squad as a magic knight. You declined him multiple times but he wasn’t budging and continued to try and convince you, you couldn’t believe your luck.

“Listen, I am not interested in being a magic knight.”

“Come on (Y/N), a lightening magic and you can breathe out lightening, control lightening, and being hit with lightening only gives you more power and mana, that’s amazing!”

“How do you even know this????”

“I... saw you fight.”

“Of course you did.” You mumbled walking away from the overly excited young adult. He gently grasped your wrist and you turned to look at him, he had a slightly serious face.

“Why don’t you want to join? Why are you so against joining the magic knights?” He asked, and you looked away unable to meet his eyes.

“Well... if I told you it would defeat the purpose of it being my little dark secret now wouldn’t it?” You said looking at him, he didn’t let go but only walked closer.

“Are you being threatened?”

“What?”

“Is someone forcing you to decline my offer?”

“That is none of your concern.”

“So I am right?”

“I didn’t say that.”

“You didn’t deny it either.”

“(Y/N) please just talk to me.”

“Who have I been talking to the entire time you been here?” You asked feigning confusion.

“You know what I mean.” Julius said but you only pulled your arm away from him and walked away. You could feel his eyes bore through your back and you wanted to tell him everything but you couldn’t, if you did the people who kidnapped you when you were a little girl would kill him, you and your sister. You went into your small room, you had that was the basement and saw your sister playing with a doll.

“Big sis~!” She ran to you giving you a tight hug and you smiled hugging her back.

“Did you see that strange man again?” Your sister asked and you laughed, even she thought Julius was a weirdo.

“I did he won’t leave me alone.”

“I think he liiiikes you.”

“Don’t start on that.” You said poking her head, causing her to giggle.

“I think you like him too.”

“I said don’t start (s/n).” You said with a small blush but smiled as she ran around with her doll. You held your hand out trying to use your magic but it only sparked once and died, your hand went to thing that was on the back of your neck. You let a sigh out and your sister looked at you, she knew what you were frowning about. You both haven’t been able to use your magic for a couple months ago, around the same time you met Julius. She walked to you and hugged you and you picked her up sitting her in your lap.

“I promise, one day we will be free.”

“I know you always find a way, after all you are a superhero.” You couldn’t help but laugh, she never considered you a wizard but a superhero. You never complained though since it had a nice ring to it.

“You shouldn’t make promises you can’t keep.” You both looked up to see the guy who managed to drain your magic enough to get the piece connected to you. You glared at him and your sister hid behind you. What you two didn’t know was Julius had followed you to where you lived and witnessed the spark that faded, the device that’s on your neck, and could hear the entire conversation.

You stood up shielding your sister from the man but he pulled a remote out and pressed a button making you yell in pain. You fell to your knees and your sister cried your name out, Julius quickly stepped in using his magic and to reverse the time. Your eyes widen and you were confused on what happened as your sister was back on your lap.

“ You shouldn’t make promises you can’t keep.” You both looked up to see the guy who managed to drain your magic enough to get the piece connected to you. You glared at him and your sister hid behind you. This entire ordeal just happened you stood up glaring at him and the guy took out his remote, but Julius stepped in knocking the remote out of the guys hand stepping on it.

“Julius...”

“I knew it.” He said, your sister ran to you hugging you again. Julius trapped the guy in his restraining magic and you looked down. Julius walked to you holding your hand and you looked up at him before pulling your hands away.

“You shouldn’t have come.”

“Yes and watch the one I love get hurt by these guys. Not happening.”

“I knew it.” Your sister yelled and you glared at her and she fell quiet.

“We aren’t going to be free just because you captured one guy. They will keep looking for us, these devices have a tracking device in them.” You said, Julius removed your hair and broke the device from your neck before doing the same to your sister and crushing it in his hand.

“Now?”

“..... how?”

“I was able to go back as far as I can to when they put these devices on you two and mess something up so they wouldn’t explode.”

“Oh... I guess that’s handy then.”

“Yeah... now let’s go before they come looking for you.” Julius picked your sister up and grabbed your hand pulling you with him.

“Where are we going?”

“Well you don’t have an excuse now you can join my squad.”

“Seriously? That’s what you want?”

“Well that and a better place to ask you to be my girlfriend...” He said with that goofy smile taking your sister as he used his mana to fly in the air. Your sister began to laugh and giggle holding onto Julius.

“Hey give her back~!”

“You got to agree to join my squad and be my girlfriend.”

“What!?” You used your mana to fly after him but he only sped up.

“I don’t know sis, if you don’t agree I wouldn’t mind living with the weirdo he is funny~!” Your sister said, and your eye twitched slightly.

“Or wouldn’t mind him as my older brother in law either.” She said sticking her tongue out.

“I like the way she thinks.” Julius said and you growled striking Julius with your lightening making sure you miss your sister. You caught your sister huffing slightly.

“Owe...”

“Idiot, we only knew each other for three months. We can’t marry and we are only 18 years old. Now what do you want to do with him?” You said with a blush but motioning to the guy that was trapped in time.

“I am taking him to speak with the wizard king and get their plans to stop.” Julius said rubbing his head, he wasn’t expecting you to hit him with lightening.

“But back to us.”

“There is no us.”

“Could be.”

“Nope.”

“I ship it.”

“(S/N) you are suppose to be on my side.” You said but Julius only smiled as he held your hand.

“I will convince you to go out with me.”

“Right... okay...” You said.

“I mean I convinced you to join the Grey Deer Squad.”

“Just because I join your squad doesn’t mean you can convince me to da~ wait I NEVER SAID I WAS JOINING!”

“You just did.” Julius said with that charming smile, you huffed glaring at him and your sister was laughing at you the entire time before holding her arms up for Julius to hold her. Julius picked her up and kissed your cheek before flying off once again.

“I am going to kill my captain.” You mumbled slightly.

You worked right beside Julius Novachrono and was really close to the Wizard King, himself. But you had a secret that you hid, and didn’t want anyone to know. Your age. The appearance, you were a middle age woman, maybe a year or two younger than Julius, but chronologically you were 13 years old. You had mastered your magic at a young age before you had even gotten your grimoire. 

Even now, you didn’t technically have a grimoire, not that anyone knew this because you weren’t a fighter. You were more support for healing and things like that. Things were simple, and people respected you because they didn’t know this secret. But here lately had been rather hard to keep the secret well, a secret. 

Right now you were staring at a 13 year old Julius who was rubbing his neck laughing. You sighed softly as you looked around, at the meeting. You had been stuck in this middle age form for a long time because of your magic. After you had transformed yourself into this form, you weren’t able to transform back because well you didn’t have your grimoire but that didn’t matter since you could still use advance spells, plus you didn’t mind.

But now you were running out of magic and you could feel it being stuck in this form and healing everyone’s injuries. You just hoped that you could get through this meeting without any mishaps. You sat in between Julius and Marx as the meeting continued. 

“(Y/N), how is your magic holding up? You used a lot of it to heal the injured.” Fuegoleon asked and Julius looked over at you. 

“Oh, I should be fine.” You lied, though you could feel Julius’s eyes bore through you.

“Are you sure, you were constantly moving around healing, in the heat of the battle. Also, you seem more different.” He said and you waved your hand.

“It’s fine, I am fine.”

“Where is your grimoire?” Nozel asked.

“I don’t need it to use my magic, so I left it back in my room.” You stated which wasn’t a complete lie. You didn’t need it, but you also didn’t have one.

“So cool.” Julius had sparkles in his eyes and you pushed his head away causing him to fall out of the chair. 

“Don’t get too close Sir Juli~oh yeah I forgot you are smaller you can’t stop yourself from falling out of a chair.” You said trying not to laugh as he rubbed his butt and huffed.

“Please don’t cause harm to him he is fragile now.” Marx said and you nodded.

“I forgot sorry.” You said, and the meeting carried on. You felt a bit light headed and you realized what was happening.

“Oh no.. I gotta go. I forgot something important.” You quickly stood up, and Julius tilted his head.

“Like what?” 

“Just something…” You said trying to make it out of the door but before you could reach the handle, your magic officially gave in and you fell foreward. Turning into a 13 year old girl. It was silent and you landed on your stomach as you tripped.

“Owie…” You said before looking down. 

‘Welp the secret is out now. This is bad.’

“Uh (Y/N)?” Julius asked and you turned back to them and rubbed your neck.

“Heheh surprise?” You said shrugging your shoulders, a little bit of your child like personality coming out. 

“Wait don’t tell me you died too and turned into a 13 year old…” Yami said and you shook your head as you sighed.

“Quite the opposite. I actually don’t have a grimiore, I never received one yet. I mastered my magic without it at the age of 10 years old. Then I was experimenting and made myself into a middle age woman, and well since I don’t have my grimoire I got stuck in that form. Well I guess, constantly using mana to keep that form and healing everyone I officially have ran out. So I am back in my original form… a 13 year old girl.” You said.

“So you lied about your age?” Marx asked narrowing his eyes.

“Actually no, I didn’t lie about my age. Julius didn’t take no as answer and made me join. He didn’t ask my age or anything! So you can’t blame me. Blame him.”

“What but I…” 

“If you would have listened, I said ‘that’s not a good idea.’ You said and I quote: ‘Your magic is so cool! You have to work for me, plus I am the wizard king so its a great idea.’ Then I said and I quote. ‘No Sir Julius, its a really bad idea, I am not who you really think I am.’ End quote. So it’s Julius’s fault in fact I gave a hint he just didn’t listen.” 

“Yeah that sounds like him.” Marx said narrowing his eyes at Julius.

“Well now we know, hahahaha a 13 year old is more mature than the wizard king himself.” 

“Hey that’s mean.” Julius said pouting slightly but walked up to you and you looked at him.

“So, I am no longer working right cause I am physically 13?” You asked and Julius pouted.

“You still have to work (Y/N), you are the only one Julius will listen to.” 

“Darn it.” You said but Julius hugged you and you pushed him off.

“No touching old man.” 

“I am not even old.”

“Chronologically you are.” You pointed out.

“Meeting is over, we now have to find a way to hide (Y/N) and Julius.” Marx said and the Captains left after patting your head.

“You have been working with me for awhile, why didn’t you tell me?” Julius asked when it was you two and after Marx left.

“You never listened, and if you knew you wouldn’t have let me work anyway.” 

“I guess you have a point.” He said looking off to the side with a small blush on his cheeks. 

“What’s wrong?” You asked confused as he helped you off of the floor.

“I liked you when we were older, and I guess my feelings are the same even though we are both 13 now. Well I am 13 again and you are back to your normal age.” He said and you blushed.

“W-Wait, Julius what are you saying?” You asked backing away but he wrapped his arms around you in a tight hug.

“I really like you, when we hit adults again, marry me.” 

“What!? Y-You can’t just ask that when we are 13!” You exclaimed and he kissed your cheeks gently before having that dorky smile of his.

“Okay fine. But I really like you (Y/N).”

“Is this even okay? I mean age physically its okay i guess but you are technically…” 

“A 13 year old, the 42 year old me died. Or did you forget.” 

“Right, but it just… doesn’t feel right…” You said looking down but Julius held your hands.

“Please (Y/N)?” 

“Fine, I will give us a chance.” You said shyly and he hugged you tightly in his arms. Marx came back but stopped as he saw you and Julius hugging each other. It was actually a rather cute sight, but Marx didn’t say anything.

You groaned as you hit Julius desk making Marx jump at the sound. He looked at you seeing the fire surround you, and your anger rising to new levels. You were so sweet and kind when you started but it seems Julius has brought out the violence that was buried deep within. He had managed to sneak out once again leaving his work behind in stacks.

“I am going to kill him.” You said, rolling your sleeves up cracking your fingers before sniffing the air to try and pinpoint his location.

“Uh...please don’t kill him. If you do we will need a new Wizard King.” Marx said placing his hand on your shoulder to try and calm you down. He couldn’t even get mad at Julius anymore because you took the anger for him and you. You turned to Marx with a glare, he quickly removed his hand and you jumped out the window, before landing gracefully on your feet causing some people to jump at your sudden appearance.

You looked around before following your nose, you began walking still cracking your knuckles. Once you turned down the alley and walked through the wall, you arrived in the black market. Of course he was going to be somewhere here, though he can’t keep hiding because you could smell him out. You continued to follow your nose before stopping in front of a little old lady, you crossed your arms staring at her.

“Oh dear, what a pretty young lady. How are you?”

“I would be better, if the good for nothing Wizard King get back to work.” The old lady laughed, and your eye twitched, everyone looked before you punched the old lady in the head causing her to fall to the ground. Everyone gasped at what you did and you shot everyone a glare that said if they took another step they would be next.

“Julius, enough playing around. Might as well transform back, you know my nose is never wrong.” The little old lady soon turned into Julius, and he rubbed his head sitting on the ground. Everyone sweat dropped before realizing it was a normal thing and went back to their business, Julius looked up at you sheepishly, as he rubbed his head but he pouted when you glared at him.

“(Y/N), why are you so mean? I miss the shy and quiet you.” He said and you took another step closer to him and he quickly backed up holding his hands up in front of him.

“You made me this way, when I realized I had to deal with your shenanigans. I honestly don’t see how Marx haven’t killed you yet, if you do not get back to work, I will beat you so bad that not even your time magic will be able to undo what I have done to you.” You growled, and Julius began to sweat profusely before hopping up and wrapping his arms around you.

“Fine, but can you stay with me while I do my work? It gets lonely, and I get bored when I am by myself.” He said with a puppy face, you looked at him your arms still crossed before sighing. You looked away from him before nodding your head.

“Fine, but you better finish every last piece of paper work.” Julius smiled widely before holding you close before using his magic to get you back to his office, you clung to Julius so he wouldn’t drop you. Once you both reached his opened window, he jumped through and Marx stepped back relief spreading across his face. He thought for sure you were going to kill him, since you were pretty serious.

“I will make sure he doesn’t leave again Marx.” You said and Marx nodded going to do his own work that he had to do. You leaned against your palm sitting across from Julius, as he began to finish the stacks that littered his desk. He knew you weren’t going to help since it was his fault that it got this bad. You closed your eyes beginning to drift off to sleep, you didn’t realize how tired you were. After a few hours, Julius looked up at you to see that you had fallen asleep. Your head was on your arms and your hair covered your face. He blushed slightly at how beautiful you were, it was no secret he did the things he did just to get under your skin. You never showed interest in him before, so this was his way to get you to notice him. It was childish he knew but he couldn’t help it, you were cute when you were angry with him.

He stroked your hair out of your face, and he had a strong urge to want to kiss you. He shook his head, trying to clear his head of the wanted urges. He leaned against his palm staring at your sleeping figure with a smile, he sighed softly wanting to be able to call you his. He stood up and walked around before picking you up gently. He walked to your room, and laid you in bed, you always forgot to lock your door which worried him sometimes, but this was one of those times he was glad you didn’t lock it. He tucked you in after removing your shoes, before going back to his office so he could finish his work. Once he finished he himself realized how late it was and decided to sleep in his office.

You woke up around 2:30 in the morning and sat up rubbing your eyes. You looked around confused looking around, you didn’t remember going to your room. That meant Julius had to carry you here and tucked you in, you smiled at the thought before getting out of bed and went to his office. You wanted to thank him for taking you to your room, but to also make sure his work was done. You walked in to see the said man asleep at his desk, you couldn’t help but silently laugh shaking your head. You said a small spell making a blanket appear and you wrapped a blanket around him, you kissed the top of his head before grabbing his paper work and took it away. You went to the kitchen to grab a small snack since you definitly didn’t eat lunch or dinner. You heard noise from behind you and you saw Marx looking at you, it seemed he had the same idea.

“Marx...”

“(Y/N)...”

“Here for a midnight snack too?”

“Yepp,”

“This stays between the two of us.” You said and he nodded laughing slightly. You both looked in the kitchen and saw some food, used a portal and walked close to it and grabbed it before standing beside Marx again.

“I saw them setting traps for us, even though they didn’t know it was us.” You said, Marx nodded and you both split the food.

“Well good thing you were here, they don’t realize we don’t get to eat having to keep tabs on their wizard king.” You said and Marx nodded in agreement.

“No they do not, we should head back.”

“Yeah see you in the morning.” You both made it back to your rooms safely, you walked in eating a sandwhich. You froze mid bite seeing Julius in your room with an eyebrow raised.

“....Julius....”

“(Y/N)....”

“So you are the food thief...”

“Not just me.”

“Really now?”

“Yepp...”

“Who else?”

“I am not about to tell you that.”

“Why not?”

“Uh because if I somehow can’t get out my room, I need that person to bring me food....”

“Uh huh...”

“...it’s your fault...”

“How is it my fault?”

“Uh.... seriously? I have to spend my entire day looking for you I don’t get to eat the way I want too. I technically eat breakfast and then a midnight snack.”

“Oh... fair enough.”

“Weren’t you just asleep?”

“I was, but I suddenly felt the warmth of a blanket and woke up. I wanted to uh... check on you.”

“Why? I am capable of protecting myself.”

“I just wanted to check on you.” You blinked and Julius looked away with a blush, you continued to munch on your sandwich before setting the plate down.

“Well I am okay as you see.”

“Yeah, I do see that.”

“So...”

“So...” You heard a knock on your door, and you answered it seeing Marx.

“Marx...”

“Julius...”

“You are the other food thief...”

“Ah....it’s your fault.” Marx nodded and Julius sweatdropped and Marx handed you a bottle of soda.

“Good luck I don’t know what’s going on so early in the morning.” He said running off, and you closed your door again setting the soda down.

“You are still here.”

“I...don’t want to leave.” This had to be the most awkward situation you had ever been in with Julius, you really didn’t know what to say or do.

“Oh....”

“I am sorry, I just want to sleep with you.”

“Wait what???” Your eyes widen, Julius eyes widen realizing how bad that sounded.

“Not like that, I meant like uhm... actual sleeping nothing else. I swear I... didn’t mean it any other way.” Julius said waving his hand quickly in front of him, blushing. You were blushing too, looking down at your hands.

“Right, sure. I mean you have to sleep on the far side of the bed of course.”

“Yeah no problem.” You drank the soda that Marx gave you before disregarding the empty containers and laid in bed removing your shoes. Julius did the same laying in bed beside you, it was an awkward silence, your bed wasn’t big so you could feel the heat radiating off of Julius. You chewed your bottom lip not facing him as you stared at the wall, Julius moved a little bit so he wouldn’t fall of the bed. His chest was against your back and you blushed slightly before relaxing. You began to fall asleep leaning against him, and Julius wrapped his arms around your waist holding you close. You both fell asleep with ease, enjoying the warmth of the other.

When morning rolled around there was a knock on your door, and Marx walked in after not getting an answer. He noticed Julius was holding you and you were sleeping against him, he shook his head with a smile silently closing the door. You turned in your sleep facing Julius, he opened his eyes due to your movement. He saw how close your face was to his, he stared at your sleeping face and he smiled. He leaned his forehead against your gently before pressing a kiss to your nose.

You mumbled in your sleep, and Julius couldn’t help but chuckle softly. You were really cute, no matter what you did. he sighed softly, and pressed a kiss to your nose. You felt the small action, and open your eyes, you stared at Julius. He looked into your eyes, and he couldn’t help but get lost in the (e/c) pools. You gave him a sleepy smile, before burying your face into him not really processing what was going on.

“Julius, go back to sleep.”

“I can’t...”

“Why not?” You mumbled against his chest.

“I rather stare at you while you sleep.”

“That’s creepy.” You said, and he chuckles slightly at your snarky remark. He pressed his head against yours again, and you stared up at him. You both just stared at each other, and he decided to take the chance. He leaned down and pressed his lips against yours gently, that seem to have woke you up. You gasped at the sudden action, and he used this chance to slip his tongue past your lips.

You closed your eyes gripping his shirt, relaxing into the kiss. It was a sweet and gentle kiss, he moved his hand to cup your cheek. After a few moments he parted from the kiss, and you both were blushing. He stroked your cheek, before smiling at you which made you relax even more against him.

“I love you (Y/N).”

“I love you too Julius, I didn’t think you felt that way for me.”

“You are crazy, of course I felt that way. That’s why I gave you a even harder time.” He said, you smacked his chest but smiled kissing his lips.

“Will you be my girlfriend?”

“Of course, that would make me so happy.” You said, and he rolled on top of you burying his face into your neck sighing.

“H-Hey get off of me.”

“Not a chance, I want to stay like this for a bit.”

“Tsk, fine only because it is nice to be held like this.” You said making Julius smile knowing he would be able to get out of work today, even if it is just for the day.

After Julius convinced you to join his squad the same day he saved you and your sister, he was an even bigger pain in the ass. He would often buy you gifts, use your sister to convince you to go on a date with him, and other tactics. Your squadmates would only laugh at their captain’s attempts to pursue you. It often ended up with you sending him through the wall of the base. Julius would often have that goofy boyish grin on his face that would make you shake your head.

“(Y/N), just love me already...” Julius said following you around the base.

“Damnit Julius, I am not interested in dating you. So please me the fuck alone.” You finally snapped, everyone turned surprised that you had raised your voice. Julius’s eyes had also widened in shock and he for once was quiet. You walked away from Julius and decided to go to your room where you knew you were safe. Julius watched you retreat to your room, and he didn’t make a move to follow you, but only placed his hand on his chin. He went into deep thought wondering what made you upset since this was a normal occurrence and normally you would laugh at him. He grew concerned for you but decided to keep his distance for now.

When you arrived at your room, you noticed your sister wasn’t there. You saw a note on the bed stand, and it said that she was going to the garden for a little while. You flopped on your bed and buried your head in your pillows. Memories of your past flooded your mind, it was the anniversary of your parent’s death. So you had been in a foul mood since you woke up. Your mind then drifted to your captain and you felt kind of bad for yelling at him.

Julius had gone to the garden only to see your sister looking at the different flowers. He sat beside her and she gave him a wide smile. That smile was contagious as it made him smile as well and she climbed into his lap.

“Hey (S/N), I have a question...” Julius said and your sister looked up at him, he bounced his leg making your sister laugh slightly.

“Ask away big brother, I know it’s about my sister.” Julius let a small chuckle at how smart your sister was. She had started calling Julius her big brother stating that the two will get married someday so she was getting in the habit.

“You are right as always... (Y/N) she seems to be more irritated than usual. Do you know what is wrong?” Julius watched your sister’s face and she began to lose her smile as she looked down at her lap.

“She is going to be like that today, it’s the anniversary of our parent’s death. She blames herself for not being able to save them. I was just a baby when they died, so I don’t remember it, but clearly her priority was me.” Your sister said, Julius nodded his head in understanding and he set your sister on the bench.

“I see, in that case, I should apologize to her,” Julius said and she nodded her head before going back to looking at the flowers. Julius went to your room and gently knocked on the door. He could hear a small sigh before a faint ‘come in’. He walked in and saw your sister on the bed staring at the wall. He closed the door, and you remained laying down.

“I am sorry (Y/N)... I feel bad knowing today wasn’t good for you/” Julius said sitting on the bed beside you and you turned around to face Julius/

“How would have known? I should have told you instead of snapping. I am the one that should be sorry.” You said and Julius gave you a gently smile pushing your hair behind your ear.

“I should leave you, you may want to be alone. So I won’t bother you. If you need anything just let me know.” Julius said getting up but you gently grasped his hand.

“Wait, I don’t want to be alone. Please don’t leave, stay.” You said softly. Julius was taken back but he smiled nodding his head. He removed his robe and shoes before laying beside you on the bed. He wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you close to his chest. You took in his warmth cuddling into him and you felt your eyes grow heavy.

“I will stay however long you want me too. Go ahead and sleep if you are tired.” Julius said and you smiled softly nodding your head. You hadn’t slept much last night and with Julius’s arms around you, you fell asleep almost instantly. He watched as you slept and he could control his racing heart, you had managed to steal his heart and he didn’t even want it back. He moved some of your hair out of your face as you slept.

“You don’t realize how beautiful you are. I want to show you, and love you in all the ways possible.” Julius mumbled to himself, he buried his face into your hair. He began to drift off to sleep never letting you go.

You woke up about an hour later and felt really warm. It took you a few moments to realize that Julius was the one holding you. You blushed slightly, and you felt his breathing on your head, and you hug him back. You heard a small giggle and turned your head slightly to see your little sister with that knowing grin on her face. You made a face at her, sometimes you thought she was too smart for her age. She ran out giggling nonstop and you let a small sigh out. You turned your head and jumped seeing Julius staring at you with a smile.

“Oh my gosh, Julius. Say something if you are awake don’t just stare.” You said smacking his chest slightly and he couldn’t help but laugh at your adorable face.

“I am sorry, I couldn’t help it though. I was admiring your beauty.” He said which caused you to roll your eyes, and bury your head in his chest. He held you tighter to him, this time staying quiet and you both stayed like that for a moment.

“Thank you, Julius, for everything.” You mumbled but Julius rubbed your back gently.

“I would do everything all over again if it meant I could have you here,” Julius admitted and you knew he was serious, and he stroked your cheek gently. You blushed and he gave you that gentle smile, Julius moved his face closer to yours. He decided to take his chances and he gently placed his lips on top of yours. A small gasp escaped your lips, and Julius smiled before slipping his tongue past your lips. You slowly began to kiss back and Julius was shocked that you kissed back.

He gently rolled you on your back, and you wrapped your arms around his neck. He deepened the kiss causing you to let a small moan escape your lips. Your cheeks heated up more and Julius held you close to him before he broke the kiss and he leaned his forehead against yours. You both kept your eyes closed and relaxed taking in each other’s warmth.

“I really hate to ask this on a day like today...”

“Just do it...I need something good to happen on a day like this.” You said already knowing what he was going to ask.

“Okay, will you be my girlfriend now?”

“Yes Julius, I will be your girlfriend. You finally convinced me to date you.” You said and Julius smiled widely and showed your faces in a kiss.

“Finally, I thought it would never happen,” Julius said hugging you to his chest.

“To be fair, I fell for you actually around the time we met.”

“Wait so you were just giving me a hard time?”

“Yepp.” Julius began sulking and you pecked his lips.

“I know, I am sorry. I can be difficult sometimes.”

“All of the time, but it makes up for my stubbornness.”

You were talking with William, laughing slightly every now and then. You and William were good friends, and you felt like you could tell him anything. You occasionally would glance at Julius who was staring at you non stop, you were the newest recruit for the Golden Dawn. Everyone was gathered after a tough mission that required majority of the captains, and some of the members of those squads.

“I am sorry, hold on captain. You... what’s up why are you staring at me for the past two hours?” You tell William before directing your attention to Julius. Everyone stared at the two of you and Julius began laughing scratching his head. You were 19 years old, and you were getting weirded out since Julius kept staring at you and he was in his forties.

“You are my daughter now.” He said, several of people spit out their drinks and your and William’s mouth dropped open.

“I’m sorry what now?” William asked confused and you stared at William before staring at Julius.

“That’s suppose to be my line captain. You can’t just declare people to be your daughter!” You yelled Julius but you were pretty sure he wasn’t listening.

“Don’t care you are my daughter now.”

“I am not your daughter.”

“But...”

“Stop with the foolishness, you damn idiot. I am actually looking for my parents so if you don’t mind, don’t make fucking claims like that.” You glared at the older male before walking out and slamming the door behind you. William sighed as he glanced at the door before looking at Julius and Julius began sulking in a corner.

“Did you ever lose a daughter?” William asked and Julius looked at William with a raised eyebrow.

“Why do you ask.”

“Just curious, I have my suspicions but yeah.”

“I did, she was kidnapped when she was just two years old a year after her mother died of a sickness that wasn’t curable at the time.” Julius said and William nodded his head.

“Hmm...”

“Why?”

“Not sure but that kind of makes sense, (N/N) stated she never knew her parents since she was raised where I managed to free her.” William said.

“Wait you don’t mean to tell me you think (N/N) is my daughter.”

“I think she has her suspicions as well, she has the same mark you have on your head on her arm.”

“Her right arm...”

“Yepp...”

“So Julius was serious?” Solid asked, and Julius leaned against his desk.

“I was semi joking and just adopting her as my daughter in a way. I didn’t actually take into account she could possibly be my real daughter.” Julius said leaving to go in search of you, he wanted to see your arm for himself. If you were really (Y/N) Novachrono, that means you were alive and he would be happy. He would also be upset that he missed you growing up but he would still be happy that you were alive. He found you sitting underneath the tree staring at your right arm and he walked up to you. You saw him coming closer and quickly covered your arm that had the mark you bared.

“(N/N)....”

“What is it?”

“Can I see... your arm?”

“Why?”

“Please...” You sighed before nodding your head and rolling your sleeve up. He gently took your arm into his hand and bent down, there he saw the blue six pointed star on your arm. It was in the same exact place he put it on his daughter when she was first born.

“You have the same mark as her...”

“As...”

“My daughter who was kidnapped when she was two. I put this mark on her when she was an infant just in case she ever died when I wasn’t around or I died and still couldn’t protect her. It would revive her.”

“Is that what yours do?”

“Yes...”

“Are you saying...”

“(Y/N)...” Julius said pulling you to his chest, he buried his face into your hair. Your eyes had widen and you were in a state of shock. You could feel the tears brimming your eyes and Julius tears fell from his face.

“I knew you weren’t dead, unless they killed you when you were a baby and killed you twice but... I couldn’t find you. I looked everywhere.” He said, you heard his voice broke. You hugged him tighter and a few sniffles escaped you.

“I don’t blame you...”

“I owe William so much for finding you and convincing you to join the magic knights.” Julius said, you buried your face in the fur of his robe.

“Are we positive that...”

“I am a 100% sure.” Julius said, and you clung to him tightly. The captains all stared at the two, and William smiled.

“What was suppose to be a slight joke turned out to be something much more.” William said, and everyone nodded.

“Yeah who would have thought.” Charlotte said watching the interaction between the two.

“It does explain the mark on her arm, why Julius took a strong liking to her magic. They have the same magic.” Yami said stopping his cigarette out.
