why women kill
aria straight up does not get people (especially non-mutants), hates them, wants their lives to include suffering.
(cate, though she is canon and this isnt rly my design originally, is most similar to aria at this point.)
margot thinks (though might not directly articulate aloud) her life, purpose, and needs are superior to others because she is so good at what she does; therefore, she can do whatever she needs to feel safe/comfortable. the fact that her future victims are preppy, privileged men who commit crimes against women is incidental to her origin.
mackenzie's killing is the most righteous. she kills without regard for herself or her own feelings at all, brutally aware of this. she thinks she is improving humankind as a whole.
in arcs where julia becomes a vigilante killing other criminals like the one who attempted to brutalize/victimize her as a child, she's essentially (selfishly, wouldnt admit it) healing that inner child by protecting other children from her fate.
