Transition Phase | As currently my future, & the control of it, has much, much more uncertainty & I lack the control over it that I desperately wish for & used to have more of. A long, but essential, Recovery period after being so severely ill for months in a row last year has turned now into a Transition Phase that only gets to start for a moment before having to come grinding to a halt for tests & waiting & the general uncertainty of my current position. Add in still not yet having regained all of my higher mental faculties & looking at having to reteach myself PS before I can finally finish & deliver anything I owe...& well, some days become worse than others. I'm not sure what sparked this, but somewhere in the last 3 months or so I started collecting plants, slowly at first from cuttings & offshoots requiring transplanting, then picking up speed once some local nurseries started having majorly discounted sales or I was given plants by neighbors or however else I've [legally] been acquiring them if not plucked from my own yard or garden (like the Ghost Peppers that seem to have grown so well this year...heeheehee), until I have multiple areas that resemble more of a forest [or a very confused one where type is concerned as not all of it is herbal/medicinal or ornamental, or even both] than covered countertops or floor space or even the best South-facing windowsills... A recent medication change screwed my head up more than normal & pushed me off track where getting all of the plants that need dealing with or repotting done with, so looks like I'm back to that, & what I'm calling "winter prep" - as here we'll soon be losing the use of the sun porch & the two giant plants it always holds for the summer [some of the incredibly few that aren't or haven't become mine] will have to come inside & add to the competition for space in the best areas of sun, which the cats also fight for. #transitionperiod #talesfromindoorgardening #jspencer #2015 #home #homelife #mobileindoorgardenisago #plants #plantseverywhere #cats #infamousinstagramcats #tabbycat #contrast #hipstamatic #hipstamatic280 #photojournal #nofilter (at Secret Nuclear Underground Bunker)
