i cant be the only one who thinks ep 10 felt.. very out of place? ep 9 was a really good episode, we have our redemption arc for yieon, the reunion of our wonderful squad and joyieon finally confessing their feelings for each other! literally the two are so in love with each other and we had many moments of them in that episode, which was ultimately deserving considering the amount of SLOW BURN we had for the past 8 episodes,,,,,, but episode 10 not only deprived us of any joyieon scenes (except for that mere 2 minutes shot where they couldn't even have a moment together without being interrupted), but they also placed in a SUPER random character that came out of nowhere, portrayed as joyi’s love interest? and that they’re trying to create a love triangle when joyieon JUST established their romantic relationship???? idk it feels very off to me, it’s like just as we are finally able to see joyieon take flight as a real couple, they are adding a love interest in,,,,,,,, without even seeing any development of joyieon as real lovers. its like they’re amping up this whole slow burn dynamic, for the blow to happen in ep 9, and suddenly in ep 10 there’s no.... development? 

i find it even more off-putting when joyi met her childhood friend and got so intimate and comfortable - i mean i know that’s probably just joyi’s character but nonetheless still feels off,,,,, like didnt you just cry for a man who you thought was dead? and the next day you’re just casually with another guy like that never happened?

not only that, but the scenes and the flow felt very.... disjointed? the first half of the show showed the squad working together to solve crimes, and suddenly yieon’s doing this all on his own?? the three girls are now (all of a sudden) starting a business at a place they have just settled in, and what happened to yukchil & gupal??? weren’t they yieon’s right-hand men? 

on top of that, this episode felt TOO smooth considering the challenges and the uphill battle yieon and his squad experienced in the previous episodes. yieon’s just catching people left and right with so much ease. i’m really hoping ep 8 wasnt the climax of the whole show considering that we still have 6 more episodes to go. definitely more has to be explained for the main villains, joyi’s mom, and the crown prince.
