Aah, finally someone says it ! Oh you wouldn’t know but even if there is almost no fanart of Sir Galahot, more people notice him. He is cute, he knows how to knit according to the opening theme, I love to imagine he is younger than he looks with his voice, it sounds young to me. And his language tic “sir” is cute. He seems to be, as his name the Proper says it, to be the “knightiest” of the knights here. And the reason he doesn’t talk nor appear that often is because apparently, according to Erika Strobel, he was supposed to be very shy. A big gentle giant, so cute ! Maybe he still is shy in canon ! His name in the production was “the Chaste” He’s not one of my favs as sadly as he had not been developped enough, but I still like him and do plan to write or draw more about him, I just need motivation as he’s hard to draw. But yes he has potential.

Sir Hotbreath, however, is one of my favs, he may not appear a lot he appears enough to me to have deserved s2, a shame, I mean he appears and speaks as much as s1 Burnevere ! I already made a post in about him, not an analysis tho. Still notice how he doesn’t like Blaze being girly, while Erika Strobel said that in the production he was supposed to be very macho and constantly doing pushups or working out whenever he had the occasion to keep in shape but also to be seen. This episode implied he might be like that. Buuuuuut seeing how he wears lady’s underwears when he’s in a dress and how there’s a flower on his helmet, he might be trying to conceal his girly side and be jealous of Blaze who has no shame in showing it…

DAMMIT why am I always overanalyzing everything !

@josephlithius I love Queen Griddle, she’s one of my favs.

She deserves more love. Actually a lot of characters do, but sadly most fans only focus on Flame and Flicker, while other characters are pretty complex too, they may be not as sane as them, they still are well written. Griddle is a good example, and it is real for me too, I’m glad to see I managed to convince you^^ she is amazing, I mean look, she is a good mother, even if overprotective, to Blaze, but also to Flame, she loves her step-daughter like her daughter ! As soon as you see this you know she has hidden depths that should be talked about and that she deserves more justice in the fanbase.

She totally deserves a hug, and a casserole, she’s Griddle she loves to eat, especially if it’s a good dish :P

So a few of you guys should already know about Rydia(the elf girl at the top). The lower character is one that has been around my mind for over a year or so now but I never really knew what to do with him.... Until I realized the perfect place for him.

His name is Pyralis(Possibly Pyr for short? Pronounced Pyre, like spyre but without the s). He’s a work in progress at the moment but I have big plans for him involving Rydia. A huge inspiration for Pyralis’ role in the webcomic story I’ve been working on goes to @josephlithius. I’m not sure I would have thought of this idea if he hadn't been so helpful in character development for Rydia.

“A-AH!” The very unexpected action of slapping the young elf on the butt catches her so off guard she jumps in response to it before whirling around to glare up at her “attacker”. The redness of her face indicates her anger or maybe that’s her blushing at the violation of her personal space? She finds herself staring up at what seems to be a fox. An olive colored fox dressed in casual clothing... Smiling down at her?? He was smiling at her with his tail wagging back and forth as if proud of his actions! This somehow angered Rydia even more. “What is your business here, fox? Why have you struck me and why do you seem happy with yourself for having done so!”

HITFLOOR.MID

@josephlithius: Once upon a time, a guy named “Malcom X” modified Doom II’s MAP01 and released it as "SUPER1.WAD".  It had a custom piece of music, unknown at the time, but later revealed to be a song called “HITFLOOR.MID” by Music Media Design.  This piece of music was then re-used in a couple of DWANGO map packs – most notably DWANGO5.WAD.

Skip ahead to 2013.  A person by the alias of “Doomkid” decided to remix HITFLOOR for the “Deathmatch Revival” map pack.  This is that remix, but played through the AdLib OPL2 system, just like you’d hear back from Doom back in 1995.
