Big news! Todayās New York Times feature by Ted Loos announced the new permanent and temporary art projects that will establish a #CulturalCorridor in Grand Central Madison, the #LIRR terminal below Grand Central Terminal opening in December 2022. Spectacular glass mosaics by artists Yayoi Kusama and Kiki Smith will become permanent #MTAart fixtures in the elegant new train hall. Rotating photography lightbox exhibitions, programmed with @icphoto will open with a new series by photographer Paul Pfeiffer. Five monumental LED screens will feature temporary digital artworks--inaugural works by Gabriel Barcia-Colombo, Jordan Bruner, and @rednosestudio āand #PoetryinMotion, presented in partnership with the @poetrysociety . #MTAMUSIC live performances will further activate the terminal. Grand Central Madison is set to be the new destination in Manhattan, a space that is not only a portal into and out of the New York City, but a place where people will gather to eat, drink, shop, and see powerful and thought-provoking art.
