I finally got to see Yayoi Kusama's "All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins!"
I do not identify as an art nerd but I have been patiently waiting for an opportunity to see one of her infinity rooms for years.
And it was fantastic. You get only 90 seconds in the infinity room but that was plenty of time to experience the art and my thoughts about it, and then I went to a chair elsewhere in the museum to journal about it while it was still fresh in my mind.
Is it worth $17 for a 1.5 minute art experience? Well I was patient a little longer and got one of the limited free tickets, but... yes. I actually think it would be worth the $17.
