At Lover’s Point in Pacific Grove, CA, where Jonny is from, there’s a statue of a butterfly. If you climb on top of it and raise your fist, especially with the constantly blowing breeze, you look like you’re riding Falkor (iykyk). This was my first and last attempt, about 12 years ago. That’s Jonny hoisting me up in the pic. This dude has been hoisting me up, regardless of failure to success probability ratios, for over 23 years, and 19 years ago today, we got married. He is the best partner in the world, my very favorite ever, and there is literally no one else in the universe who could hold a candle to him.
