i think one of my favorite mechs lines is "where the ghouls feast on corpse meat" because,,, while I understand what he's trying to convey, like "oh they're eating dead humans like vultures scavenging for scraps from starvation" but jonny,,, most people who eat meat eat corpse meat. like. a dead creature. sure some animals or something may eat another alive in the wild but overall the meat your eating is from something already dead??? so yeah I should HOPE they're eating corpse meat.

Hi, this isn’t a thing, but I’m making it one (writers and other artists feel free to join in on Self-Promote Saturday). Today’s self-promote is: 8 times Jonny refused a hug from a Mechanism + 1 time he got a group hug (6k)

This is just what it says on the tin. Jonny is not always in the best place mental health wise and isn't willing to accept a hug, despite wanting one. When the others take note they try to help him.
I love some good angst hurt/comfort and making Jonny sad and struggling to accept that others care for him was my bread and butter when I was active in the Mechs fandom. I really liked coming up with all the different scenarios to fit each Mech for encountering Jonny in need of a hug, it's one of the most fun things about doing a number+1 format, you can fit so much charactization in it. So, I really enjoyed this angsty work, hope y'all do too :D
