HBO mocks Marvel's superhero shared-universe content-making machine in their satirical series set on the production of a fictional big-budget blockbuster comic book film adaptation called "Tecto: Eye of the Storm," starring a C-list hero (Billy Magnussen) with earthquake-powered gloves. Packed with in-jokes about the absurdities of contemporary filmmaking, it's a breakneck pace and dire exasperation as its beaten-down characters struggle to do their jobs amid the battle of egos on set, with increasingly wild demands.

A pub in Staten Island, New York, established itself as an "autonomous zone" in defiance of Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's COVID-19 edicts.
âAt this point, weâre OK with it, because weâre not paying it,â co-owner Danny Presti said of the fines they have received for remaining open. â[The Sheriffâs Department] is issuing us $1,000 fines, so they keep coming back. Weâre still here. Weâre not letting them in.â
In addition to the thousands of dollars in fines, the pub also faced a shut-down order from the state Health Department and a revocation of its liquor license from the State Liquor Authority.
âWeâre not backing down. You think you scared me by . . . saying I donât have a license now to serve liquor now? Well, guess what? That liquor license is on the wall. If that liquor license is gonna come off the wall, itâs gonna be done by Cuomo. You wanna come down here and pull that license off the wall?â McAlarney says in a YouTube video that was posted Friday.
âDe Bozo,â McAlarney continued, in an apparent reference to Democratic New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. âYou want to come down here and pull the license off the wall?â
âFeel free to end up cominâ down, and weâll end up having a conversation before you even think about stepping foot on my property. I will not back down,â McAlarney added.
The accounts they plan to switch also include @whitehouse, @VP, @FLOTUS, and other official government handles.
Twitter also said that representatives of the company will be meeting with members of the Biden transition team in the near future to discuss how the incoming administration plans to use its new accounts.
The official @POTUS account, which has more than 32 million followers, will be reset to zero tweets on Inauguration Day, at which point Trumpâs tweets will be deleted and archived.
