âAs a proper Lady, it is imperative to withhold all usage of expletives. Therefore to aid my own temper, I strongly prefer the usage of ... alternative vocabulary.â
âOne classic of mine is:Â âHaberdashery!â ... and no, I am not meaning to discuss the goods from a haberdasher, but it is my aid for self-control when expressing intense frustration and wishing to exclaim it.â
âNext, it is the resorting to good olâ Shakespearian insults. Such as, âYou are âloathsome as a toad!ââ
âAnd finally, my latest. Which is reserved for those moments you have thrown caution to the wind and wish to keep it as succinct as possible: âScrewsiesâ. Which I must credit the origin to the lovely @jolaunay , which I thank you kindly for permitting me consent to use this as a part of my vocabulary!â
