                  of course he had to fall asleep right in the middle of watching one of mickey’s all-time favourite movies. he has a tendency to completely infuriate him, both intentionally & unintentionally, so mickey isn’t taken by surprise. however, the older male is this close to smacking him, waking him up with a good ol' kiss with a fist. but then     -------     a miracle prevents him from making it happen. he can feel the ginger moving, leaning against him & ... he freezes. quite frankly, he doesn’t care whether he’s doing it consciously or not. the anger vanishes from his body & all that he does is close his eyes, stay completely still & breathe.      

                   violently rubbing his eyes, the groggy milkovich steps into the bathroom, welcomed by the most obnoxious singing voice that he’s ever had the displeasure of hearing. with an exaggerated, loud groan he announces his arrival & effortlessly slips out of his comfortable sweats.           ❛     do you have to give me a fuckin’ headache at the very beginning of the day ??     ❜         & with that, he sneaks into the shower & sinks his teeth into jerome’s shoulder     ——     it leaves a nice, deep mark.         ❛     move, bitch, i ain’t got enough room.      ❜        

                     there's no clear explanation why jerome’s still in harley’s apartment & ... alive for that matter. she can detect his overly expressive movements in her peripheral vision & that the pitch, volume, rhythm & timbre of his voice are endlessly, drastically fluctuating. is he ... trying to get her attention with an appalling magic trick ?? she wouldn’t know, but with every single noise he makes, he adds fuel to the fire that’s already RAGING inside of her petite body.         ❛     ya fed my hamsta’ ta yer UGLY MUTT     ------   i ain’t gonna PICK A DAMN CARD !! ! ! !!  !! ! ! !!!    ❜           and although she’d be more satisfied if she could make him swallow the whole deck, she opts for an easier way of making him suffer     ------     her hands go straight for his neck, yanking his body back & forth as she attempts to strangle him.

         “seems like you had a bit of fun,” he drawled out, glancing over the blood covered boy. the sight didn’t bother him. VIOLENCE was something that oswald knew very well. “i would say that i’m surprised that you’re somehow around, but it seems fish and theo paved the path for this. what did YOU get up to, hm??”

    “I’ve got excuses for all these things that I tried in my life.”

                call him batshit crazy, but he trusts this certified psychopath enough to leave him with a toddler while he’s in the closest possible store, buying whatever the fuck that horrible substance that babies eat is. before leaving, he told jerome to keep an eye on the drowsy yevgeny, but that he didn’t have to interact with him in any way. he can’t deny that every nerve in his body is alarmed now, though, as he’s facing yevgeny who’s playing with bandit on the couch right next to jerome. he can only catch his breath when he makes sure that all three of them are okay   ——   and that’s when a sickeningly giddy feeling overpowers him … that’s his family right there. he leaves the groceries on the coffee table and plants a kiss on jerome’s temple, dropping a pack of cigarettes in his lap & mumbling a soft i fuckin’ love you. it’s not genuine, but rather mocking & dramatic   ——   that’s why he smiles at the redhead’s response.         ❛     of course i don’t.     ❜         painfully obvious lie.         ❛     ——     just said that to kiss your ass so you’d take care of yevgeny more often, y’know, when i go out an’ shit like that.     ❜        he squeezes himself between his lover & his son and grabs some baby food.         ❛     c’mon, little man. i know this is yucky, but you gotta eat so you’d become big & strong, like this other pain in my ass right here.   ——   no, bandit !! fuck’s sake, you can’t eat that. j, did you feed the mutt ??     ❜
