I wish that I had infinite money, because you have an amazing smile and supporting you seems like the best way to bring out more smiles. Also, it would mean that I could support myself and a bunch of other amazing people
Very kind of you to say, thank you very much!! ❤️I feel the exact same way! There are so many in need of help, it’s ridiculous that simply wanting to get by on health/necessities is such a challenge in today’s economy let alone trying to take care of your family/loved ones in general. Grinds my gears >.>
Can you tell me the most interesting story you can think of regarding theater?
Finally getting to some asks.
Just throwing it wide open Dove, interesting is a nebulous term so I'm gonna have to lay down a definition here
I think I'm too immersed to know what would be interesting to normal people, so it will have to be something I find interesting.
Ah got it
The origins of theatrical myths (unsurprising that I find myths interesting)
Whistling - The myth that whistling onstage/in a theatre is bad luck. Back in the old days, theatres would hire sailors on shore leave to run their fly floor (a fly floor is where all the rope pullies are to lift the set and stuff offstage into the rafters, so for set changes and stuff) these sailors used to communicate with each other through coded whistling to coordinate the flying of set. So the myth became if you whistle on stage you are liable to have a piece of set fall on your head (Or more likely a angry flyman)
The Scottish Play - we all know naming the Scottish play by Shakespeare in a theatre is bad luck and if you do it you must engage in some absurd ritual to dispel the evil luck. This apparently originates from the belief that Old Will added real witch spells to the script buuuuuuuuut... I have another theory... MacB was an incredibly popular play for centuries and still is. most theatres back in Willy's day and beyond would usually pay the last play with the takings from the next play (ie they were constantly in debt and simply paying of the previous debt with the new debt) so if a show was a flop then it was disastrous and the theatre would inevitably have to close.
So what do you do when you have loads of debt and the bailiffs are knocking on your door as a theatre? You put on one of the most successful crowd pleasers in history, with Murder! and Fighting! and Scary Witches! MacB
However you are still in debt and the money made from the performance may not be enough to sustain you so inevitably theatres would perform The Scottish Play and then shortly after close down, it's the sort of coincidence that would fan the flames of a superstition.
yeah so theatre myths and superstitions
BTW all theatres are haunted. just search for The Delivery Saga tag on my blog for proof
Trick or treat

I just stumbled across your pictures and I may have moaned several times while scrolling through.
I... I think I need to take care of myself
Oh I'm flattered 😊
Need a hand with that?
Hey this isn't really an ask but I wanted to say that your videos and generally positive vibes got me through a lot and whenever I see one of your posts on my dash it makes my day better and puts a smile on my face. I hope this isn't against the rules of your ask blog.
Haha, why would it be against the rules for you to just give me compliments? XD
@floofballsammy Glad to hear it!
@jokes-randomness-galore Aww, stop!
