💀 — What’s their relationship with the Boatman like?

nothing particularly notable! i'm sure the only reaction they have to eachother is "oh, you again"

they play chess sometimes, twitch probably tries to talk to him a little bc they can't sit in comfortable silence for 2 seconds, but it never gets them anywhere.

overall, amiable but distant! well. apart from that one time in the BaL storyline where twitch pushed a nun off the boat to permakill her. but that's all water under the bridge. don't worry about it :)

ZAILING.........IT'S ALWAYS TROUBLED WATERS

ingame a lot of the time it's mutiny, but canonically i think twitch gets on well with their crew (although as a semi-constantly rotating band of criminals and people down on their luck, i'm sure it's gone wrong a few times)

so however they're dying at zee is almost guaranteed to be them disregarding danger to themselves, either being overconfident and it backfired, or putting themself in harm's way to help their crew

emphasis on help, not save. they won't do a heroic leap to save one guy--if you're in the way of a cannonball it's on you, sorry. you should've moved. you'll come back anyway! you might not stay on their crew, but you'll be alive, probably!

but if a zee monster is threatening the entire ship, or they're engaged in a particularly difficult battle, then they'll do their best to solve it, even if it's using themselves as bait

dying for the whole crew raises morale!! :D

Hi there!

As far as I know, only the first chapter was ever translated. There’s an old Livejournal post from 11 years ago (wow, I feel old) where I first found a translation. That person made it sound like they planned on continuing it, but never did (I can’t imagine how much work that is to do for free, so I can’t blame them). 

The other was translated by someone here around a year ago. I found the post on my blog but the OP deleted, so the ‘read more’ unfortunately doesn’t work, and therefore I’m guessing the one I linked above is the one you already found. That person also said at the time that they’d translate the whole thing, but understandably, things get in the way. 

Sadly, I’ve given up on anyone translating the rest at this point, given how long it’s been out. I think a synopsis of the whole plot is on the Megaten wiki, but I definitely know that’s not nearly the same.
