@heirinherent
come to the sea of nectar, ok? i will meet you at the train station! ^^
As soon as she’s finished typing the text, Jade hops up out of bed. She slips on her sneakers, pulls on the squiddle jacket that she was really happy to find in her closet. And then she’s out the door, unable to help but go early to wait for John.
She makes her way up out of Bi Xiu and to the train station, and it’s a nice walk before she’s sitting outside the train station to wait. Even if she just saw him recently, she’s always happy to see John. Sure, it’s not like he’s locked up in a lonely tower, but he doesn’t live as close to her, and they both end up so busy... She always looks forward to getting the excuse to go and see him.
She looks up at the warm, wan sunshine--hopeful, the forecast said--and she thinks about it. Sure, they’ve always been close friends, but she thinks that figuring out that they were--in a wild ectobiology sense--siblings might have made them closer too. Jade can’t count all the times that she secretly wished for a sibling, living out on the island. ...And she also can’t count all the times that she wished that John was with her, back on the ship. ...Well, maybe that’s one of the reasons that she’s always making excuses to go and visit him.
When she looks back at the entryway to the train station, she perks up, ears an all. “John!” And she hops to her feet, running over and waving a hand in greeting. She doesn’t really give him much warning before she scoops him up into a hug, just barely keeping from knocking him over. “Hey!! Did you have an okay train ride?”
