When I think Johannes and Aarni, I think of two people who have known each other for so long that they can wordlessly understand each other, there’s familiarity and comfort, but still so much playfulness in how they are with each other. The whole childhood friends to lovers of it all that just makes me very soft to think about, also the way that Aarni photographs Johannes and the intimacy and love on display.

Meanwhile Kännes is like an intense summer romance, a lot of flirtation and teasing, they both can let loose around each other, they have fun but they also understand that the other needs moments of quiet and comfort, they get what being in the spotlight is like, they’re happy to give that for the other. Also maybe a bit more of a ‘sigh this silly man I’m really down bad for’ whenever Jere does or says something incredibly goofy and incredibly Jere. I also like to think about the fondness but very direct way Johannes will stare at him, his need to hold him, it is dear #ToMe
