@knightlier asked: the  smile  on  his  lips  is  as  commonplace  as  anything  else  on  the  face  of  the  middle  child  of  the  wilsons.  he  seems  to  regard  the  younger  man  with  fondness  despite  their  few  interactions.  waving  at  tim,  joey  soon  shifts  into  signing.  you  are  dick's  younger  brother,  yes?  it's  a  pleasure  to  meet  you. he  extends  robin  a  hand,  then,  hoping  he  will  take  it.  he  knows  his  name  has  been  tainted  by  the  deeds  of  azar's  spirits,  but  he  hopes  he  can  atone  for  it.  he  hopes  there's  a  chance.

he  knows  the  other’s  name,  his  face.  he’d  certainly  seen  some  of  him  when  stalking  dick  to  try  to  bring  him  back  as  robin.  joseph  “joey”  wilson,  son  of  noted  titan’s  enemy  slade  wilson,  a.k.a.  deathstroke.  however,  he’s  much  more  on  the  side  of  heroes  as  a  member  of  the  titans.  his  eyes  follow  joey’s  hands.  it  takes  a  moment  for  the  sentence  to  settle  in  his  brain,  his  asl  skills  still  in  the  works.  

the  extended  hand  only  means  one  thing,  though,  and  he  doesn’t  hesitate  to  take  it,  giving  him  a  firm  but  friendly  shake,  as  taught  to  him  by  jack  drake.  “the  pleasure  is  mine,”  he  replies  instinctively.  “dick  talks  about  you  a  lot.”
