With its badass riffs and gut-punching lyrics, Marsonās new single,Ā āNo Retreatā, leaves me entranced.
Opening with a man versus desert scheme, the accompanying music video fits hand in hand with the trackās enticing ways. āLeave me alone/Baby youāll hurt me/ Iāve always known/That youād desert me,ā the video combines dark dancing figures with the solitary desert to symbolize the monsters swarming Marsonās mind.
Featuring Rob Calderās epic bass and Matt Johnsonās heavy drums, you can feel the instrumentals intertwine with the dancers, making both your heart and mind whirl. Erratic and destructive, the dancers thrive in their maddening disheveled ways and will have you tapping into your insanity as well. Hell knows I was seduced.Ā
Gritty, raw, and soaked in passion, the track and its visuals welcome the alluring beasts in Marsonās head and ultimately captivate us all.
