i don’t believe mary winchester would have raised them like hunters but then again there were so many complications. i mean, all of heaven and hell were trying to get the winchesters to do what they wanted them to do. eventually, i think she’d have no choice
however, i think she would have been kinder to sam and dean, much more emotionally supportive, and more flexible in terms of working together. she wasn’t a single track mind kind of person, i think she would have made more room for compromise and would have shared more with her sons, as much as she was able to
