I am sad and in pain, can you write a smol fic of your fave otp, Sam/Joc (Jam), in which they are in any scenario of your choosing?
Could the day get any worse?
A surprise test in two classes, a fight with her friend, stepping in a huge puddle that soaked her leg up to her knee were at the top of the list of things Joc didn’t need in her life at the moment. In fact, she would have been much happier if fate or karma or whatever was after her today let her relax for an hour.
But no. Not today. Today was bad and only going down hill. Nothing could cheer her up, not her art, not her tumblr, not even Sam who she knew would want to know what was wrong the moment she stepped through the door. She would, of course, try to push off his concern in an attempt to not worry him but he wouldn’t buy it.
And that’s exactly what happened. Joc let her backpack slide off her arm and left it near the doorway as she walked past him. She avoided looking up at him, up at that raised brow and those questioning eyes because one glance would undo her. And then she’d keep going and dwell and there are things she’s just not ready to deal with yet.
One moment of peace. One moment of relaxing. This is all Joc can think about all the way to her room. She’ll turn on the Christmas lights and put on Netflix and burrow under her covers. At least, this is what she planned on until a gentle hand caught her shoulder and prompted her to turn around. She did so begrudgingly with her arms crossed.
“Joc…”
“I’m fine. Promise. Just. Aching a little. Nothing to bad.” Her forehead thumped against the middle of his chest. “One of those days, Sam…” Arms closed around her warm and engulfing. He practically curled over her enveloping her in a pocket of warmth that made her shiver. “Just wanna relax and have a good night.”
“Sure. Anything you want.”
Joc’s laugh was muffled against his chest.
“Pancakes and pizza. That’s what I want.”
“You got it.” Sam pulled out his phone.
“Wait, what?”
“I’ll order pizza and make some pancakes-”
“There’s no way in hell I’m gonna eat all that-”
“So we’ll have leftovers.” He smiled. “Go get comfortable. We’ll watch a movie, your choice.”
Joc had to stop her jaw from dropping. How the hell did this boy even exist? Despite her amazement, she went to her room got into her most comfortable pajamas and set up Lilo and Stitch on her laptop. Sam came in a few moments later with drinks, her medicine, and a fluffy blanket to wrap around her shoulders.
Finally, after thirty minutes Sam came into the room with a pizza box, plates, a stack of pancakes, and utensils. It hard to find room but they made it work with little mess. Sam wound up lying on his side on her bed due to his height forbidding him to fit entirely on her bed but Joc was fine with that. She leaned back against him, all warm and soft, and couldn’t stop herself from smiling even as she drifted off to sleep.
