True, all of them are pretty clever idk why people forget that, even the flash said just cause they wear bright colours and don't kill don't mean they don't give him a hard time. They are organised and they know what they are doing
Exactly. But some writers portray them as fools and ridiculous villains rather than the clever survivors they are -- even Len, who's pretty much defined by his canniness and wisdom in the modern era.
katzedecimal replied to your ask post:
definitely credited as Beppito Spazzagutti
It'd be a crime to not use such an amazing name :3

I will always be entertained by this issue.
It was definitely a unique story, the kind we don't get to see very often. I liked it a lot.

I love that the relationship between Tsedi and Jinana in the Knight of Heriox sandbox is just sort of everything all at once - they grew up in the Garden together, theyâre intimate but itâs not romantic, they absolutely bang sometimes (whether therapeutically or just for fun), they both have peacock hair but itâs different, they drink the worst drinks in the universe together, theyâre alienfuckers, they work for the galactic government, have a loquat smoothie
I might just do them all, lmao.
M: Got any premises on the back burner that youâd care to share?
I had a Dream Daddy/Modern AU type thing with Corvo and Daud where Jess was still alive and Emily was the product of them having a soiree and hooking up. They meet because heâs a professional parkourist who also works as a stunt double and sheâs like, a foreign ambassador for Canada or something, and they were both in Italy at the time. ANYWAY they arenât married or anything (their jobs like, REALLY clash) but they share joint custody between Emily so she floats between them. Fast forward and itâs Corvoâs turn to take Emily, and heâs settling down in an LA neighborhood so that he can film for a movie (stunt double, aye). And Daud is the social worker (single dad with like, three adopted kids) who has to deal with their case and meets them that way. Also, Emily goes to the same school as Daudâs kids, and Corvo finds this out when Emily asks to stay over at their house, and who brings her home but Daud. :3c Also Corvo ends up having an accident at work, and is bed ridden for a while and Daud helps out with handling the kids and also sometimes makes Corvo dinner yadda yadda. It lives happily in my head, and one day, maybe, Iâll write it out.
X: A character you enjoy making suffer.
Corvo. Daud. Take your pick, it changes with my mood.

So turns out I can actually write things if I donât overthink myself into a corner and just have fun with it instead of worrying about length and if iâm writing other peopleâs characters out of character. Who knew?
prompt was âItâs still not healed, but itâs getting there.â from the Injuries prompt list. Shout out to Vet Ranch on Youtube for teaching me about wound care.
tw: wound care (not too graphic but just in case)

âSo how is it?â Adam asked impatiently.
Bridget huffed. âHold on, Iâm still taking the bandages off.â
âWell go faster.â Adam wiggled. âThese itch.â
âTheyâll do a lot worse than itch if you keep moving around like that,â Bridget replied, waving the scissors. âIâll get you an extra egg if you stay still.â
Adamâs ears perked up. âOne of the duck ones?â he asked hopefully.
Bridget nodded. âOne of the duck ones.â
So this was her life, Bridget thought as she cut away the rest of the bandages. Bribing an eight-foot tall cat man with eggs while she operated on him in the back room of boosted spaceship. At least heâd finally consented to letting her treat his wounds. She was the only one he trusted to do medical shit to him for whatever reason.
Bridget grimaced as she pulled the packing away from the wound. Granulation tissue had started to form, but the wound was still far too open for her liking. She shrugged and grabbed the bottle of saline solution. âGonna have to re-pack this, man. Sorry.â
Adam made an irritated sound sheâd only ever heard on cat videos before. But if she pointed that out to him, itâd be goodbye cooperative patient. âIâm not risking my best sniper to getting permanently sidelined because he didnât know how to sit down and get healed up,â Bridget said instead, soaking some gauze in the saline. âBesides, youâre already like half healed in a day with your freaking scary healing capability, you can suck it up for another day or two.â
Adam grimaced as Bridget placed the bandages in, teeth clenched tight against a hiss.Â
Bridget looked up in concern. âYou gonna get through this without me having to knock you out, orâŚ?â
âNo.â His cutoff was quick, biting at the edge of the words. âNo getting knocked out. Just... finish it with the local anaesthetic.â
Visions of the Zin people tubes danced through Bridgetâs head. She batted them away. âFine. But if you wake King up with your yowling, Iâm not gonna be taking the heat.â
Adam huffed. âI donât yowl.â
Bridget worked in silence for a bit, the hum of the ship punctuated only by the stiffled sounds of Adam hissing in a breath. There was something weirdly soothing about treating wounds manually. The methodical layering of the wet-to-dry bandages, then the inner layer of gauze, then the outer bandage to hold it all together- it was almost like a concert of motion, all the pieces in place one by one to achieve a harmonious result.
Maybe she needed to get a hobby.
Adam was the one to break the silence. âHow do you know all this?â
Bridget shrugged. âWatching animal videos on Youtube.â
Adam growled low in his throat.
âEasy there, big guy. First aid is first aid, regardless of the body it helps.â Bridget snipped the end of the outer bandage, then peeled the rubber gloves off of her hands. âAnd done. Now stay put while I go get your eggs from the fridge.â
As Bridget moved away, she could hear Adam swinging his legs over the side of the operating table. âI said stay put, you walking rug,â she called over her shoulder, hardly breaking her stride.
âFine, whatever,â Adam grumbled. There was the sound of his tail swishing back and forth, like he was thinking of something. âHey, Boss?â
Bridget looked up from the carton of eggs. âHmm?â
