Time for a Picnic || Fox, Jasper and Jo || Day 10
Katya was unbearably restless, and she could tell that her constant checks were putting people on edge. So she decided to take some people to find her safehouse. She’d found Bridgeport on the map, which she, Matt, and Marshall had marked out, which roads were safe, and which weren’t. She knew how to get there. The house had some decent land around it, so it should be clear. She had her gun, and they’d amassed enough silent weapons, ones that didn’t need ammunition, so they would be able to defend themselves.
“Hey!” She headed down into the kitchen, and punched Jasper on the shoulder, gently. Sort of gently. “Pretty boy. Your time has come. Time to be a hero, or whatever.” She moved over to the map. “Here is where we are going. I have a weapon stash, some first aid supplies, some rations. We need them, so we are going to get them. You have a weapon?” She asked.
She didn’t think much of him. But then again, she didn’t think much of a lot of people who had joined them. They had potential though. Probably. The medic was a bit pathetic. Still, beggars couldn’t be choosers, and she supposed she’d deal with it as she could. She was very happy to teach, and she enjoyed it. Hopefully Kennedy had benefitted from her lesson, at least.
