Hey folks! This week’s post is going to be a little smaller than usual- just some quick updates today! We have a couple GaymerX things we wanted to remind you about.

GaymerX Tickets and hotels: If you backed the GaymerX East 2017 Kickstarter you should be getting your ticket codes soon! Head to the Eventbrite page and use those codes to get your ticket. If you are picking up multiple tickets with codes, please get one at a time! Also, for those looking to book a hotel room, book soon as they’re limited.

Also, don’t forget that we’ve extended GaymerX East 2017 Panel/Talk/Workshop submissions to September 15th. That’s this Friday! Make sure you submit soon!! Changes can always be made afterwards, so don’t hold back!!!

Now, pivoting to the games production side of the MidBoss umbrella, Matt, JJ, Kossio, Red, and Bemp will all be going to Japan for Tokyo Game Show, as will our friend Landon from Duck Game! We’ll be showing of the Japanese version of 2064: Read Only Memories as its development is getting closer to the finish line. Be sure to keep your ears open for announcements, we might have a cool surprise for you all 👀

Hey there to all our summer pals! We hope you’re enjoying these last bits of warm weather.

You may have already caught this on Twitter and Facebook, but tickets for #GXEast17 are available for the first time outside our Kickstarter! We’re really looking forward to being back in New York and seeing you all there, so be sure to grab a ticket to avoid missing out. There will be a price hike as we get closer to the event so if you’re on the frugal side this is your best bet to get in on all the fun and still save a couple of bucks.

Wondering more about behind the scenes about what we’re up to at GaymerX? Did you know we have a Patreon? We post all kinds of MidBoss secrets over there, from game projects to exclusive updates about things we’re planning for #GXEast17. This month Philip took to the pen (er, keyboard?) to let our Patrons in on some secrets that aren’t quite ready for the public yet. You can find out what they are for yourself for as little as $1, though supporting us at a higher amount gets you access to all kinds of good stuff.

Wondering what’s up with the rest of the team? Well, we’re back on the go again! This month you’ll be able to catch MidBossers (we’ve decided this is a thing literally just now) Matt, Toni, Bemp, and Landon tabeling at FlameCon in NYC, then Matt, Toni, JJ, and EMi will be supporting our friends at MAGFest at their first ever west coast event! There’s even going to be two MidBoss panels: Friday will be GaymerX After Dark, and Sunday will be Queerness in Games. If you’ll be in the area of either of these great events please be sure to say hi to everyone if you see them, and support us by stopping by our tables or panels. We’re so proud of our friends for continuing to put on such great events and excited for the opportunity to be at them once again!

*ahem* So anyway, thank you to everyone who tuned into our Night in the Woods stream! We had a really great time playing along with you last week. As requested, we’ve archived the stream on our YouTube channel for you all. If you weren’t able to watch as we played, you can now watch the experience at your leisure! That particular stream was owed to you all from a previous date, and so we’ve scheduled a second stream for this month as well. You can tune on on Monday, April 24th at 9pm est to watch Matt and JJ play more Night in the Woods. We’re looking forward to seeing you all then!

Have you been wondering lately about what we’ve been up to with 2064: Read Only Memories? The game may already be out on PS4 and Steam but we’ve been hard at work getting it ready for more places! We’ve been laser-focused on our Japanese release through Playism, and we’re getting very close to having it done. We’re hoping to be able to tell you an official date in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for news 👁

Speaking of Japan, we’re heading back! King Kronkus Matt Conn and Good Boy Racoon Kossio will both be at Bit Summit in May with the freshest build of 2064: Read Only Memories in Japanese. Considering how much work we’ve been putting into it, we’re super excited to let people see how far we’ve come since we were at Tokyo Game Show in September. We’ll let you know more about our booth location as soon as we can, so please come by and visit with us!

“Never really thought about it much, but I’d say home is pretty calm, just lonely. Relations are poor with their father due to just how distant Brian is to Chad because of his work in the HR. Chad mostly spends his time at Olivers place. Brian might not approve of Chad’s very outward style and rebellious nature, which causes some heat between them. He is known to get into trouble a lot in and out of class, especially with graffiti stuff.

“We got the voice of Launchpad McQuack (Ducktales, Darkwing Duck) to curse in the voice of Launchpad McQuack. That was pretty sweet.

It also lead Matt and I to an unexpected meeting with Todd Bridges (Willis Jackson from Diff'rent Strokes – “What'chu talkin’ ‘bout, Willis?”) when recording for Fairlight. We brought him in to do another voice in the game and then watched his Vegas show afterwards. It was weird, but cool.
