iam8bit, together with Hyper Games, has announced physical editions of Hyper Games-developed cozy adventure game Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth for PlayStation 5 and Switch, which will launch on September 18. Pre-orders are available now. It is also the first confirmation of a PlayStation 5 version.

Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth is a heartwarming cozy adventure inspired by the cherished Moomin stories from Tove Jansson. The game follows Moomintroll on a charming but chilly journey as he wakes from hibernation to find himself completely alone in a world he hardly recognizes. Wandering through snowy landscapes, Moomintroll ventures into the unknown, meeting new friends along the way while experiencing the breathtaking beauty of winter for the very first time.

Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth is available now digitally for Switch and PC via Steam. A Switch 2 version is also planned.

PlayStation 5 and Physical Editions Announce Trailer

iam8bit, in cooperation with publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Ivy Road, will release a physical edition of narrative-centric cozy game Wanderstop for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 on August 28, the companies announced.

Wanderstop first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam on March 11, 2025, and is coming to Switch 2 and Switch on June 25.

The PlayStation 5 physical edition will cost $39.99, while the Switch 2 physical edition, which includes the full game on the card, will cost $49.99. It will be available at participating retailers, with an iam8bit Exclusive Edition with an exclusive outer sleeve also available via iam8bit’s online store (PlayStation 5, Switch 2) for the same price.

In addition to the physical game, iam8bit will also release the vinyl sets Wanderstop 2xLP and Wanderstop FM 2xLP for $42.99 each. Both are also expected to ship on August 28.

Wanderstop is a narrative-centric cozy game about change and tea.

Playing as a fallen fighter named Alta, you’ll manage a tea shop within a magical forest and tend to the customers who pass through. But Alta does not want to be here. And if she gets her way, the tea shop will be nothing but a brief and painful memory. Wanderstop is a tea shop management ritual. Grow and harvest the ingredients needed for tea, and then mix them together in an unusual tea-making contraption. Along the way, speak with the many travelers who pass through the shop, learn their stories and make tea that’s just right for them. In your downtime, you might tidy up around the clearing, decorate the shop in your style, or just sit on a bench with a cup of tea and listen to your own thoughts. Maybe doing nothing at all is okay.
