Yuri, being a doctor back when he was in Frosthiem tried to scowl at the man for smoking. But tried once to try and look cool for his captain because of his one sided love for the man.

was rereading the earlier chapters and

jin dancing with you??? to a song yuri still hums????? i'm not saying they were lovers but they sure were something

-after learning about yuri's stigma, jin started playing some pieces for him when he was studying to help his mind slow down–mostly debussy and ravel because of their quieter dynamics. his plan actually worked and that's how yuri developed his love for classical music.

-their first kiss was probably during one of their piano lessons. jin took a seat next to yuri to show him how to play a passage but stole a kiss from him instead.

-jin got his hands treated by yuri many times due to piano injuries and yuri has lost his patience with him countless times more trying to get into his head the importance of stretching properly and not leaving blisters untreated.

-the first time they went to the opera house together they listened to brahms piano concerto no. 1 per jin's suggestion only to realize 5 minutes into the first movement that it was not a good idea. yuri cried so much that day that they actually had to stay for another twenty minutes after it was over until he calmed down.

-one day yuri asked jin to show him some of his recordings from competitions and recitals but he refused. in the end, yuri got tired of asking and pretended to be angry saying something like "you don't trust me enough to let me know about your past" which eventually made jin feel bad. though he still asked him to watch the recordings alone.

-every time yuri discovered new pieces, he visited jin's bedroom and they discussed them together. this meant of course that jin ended up giving him long lessons of music theory to explain to him what made a passage sound so good. at some point yuri had no choice but to kiss jin to make him shut up just like jin did to him whenever he rambled about anomalies.

-jin has praised yuri's voice so much that he actually convinced him to try singing with him on the piano once. they tried some easy hindemith exercises but yuri got so flustered halfway through that they couldn't continue. sometimes, jin could hear him humming some of the book's melodies and felt happy enough knowing that at least he was still practicing on his own.
