it is kinda amazing how different the starcraft fandom is, depending on where you are looking for content.
Reddit: memes specifically relating to gameplay, friendly rivalry between Broodwar, SC2 ladder, and SC2 Co-Op, LOTS of salt about game balance
youtube: cults of personality, gameplay footage of the mechanics going awry, a few quality game guides and a lot more bad ones, the cgi animation community, and of course Carbot.
tumblr and deviantart: uncomfortably aggressive vaguely sexual shipping art involving exclusively the character from the Legacy of the Void campaign, almost all involving artanis, alarak, and vorazun. Talis, selendis, and jinnara occasionally show up. occasionally good fan art unrelated to shipping.
