I just had a hilarious thought.

Imagine Harvey and Jim, enjoying their break at work.

Harvey has the fantastic idea to play 'Kiss, Marry, and Kill' with only criminals they have arrested as their choices.

Jim is a bit reluctant, but eventually gives in to this innocent game.

"Let's see," Harvey starts, "Jeremiah, Jerome, and Cobblepot."

Jim tries his best to ignore the older detective's self-satisfied smirk and concentrates on answering the proposition instead. "I guess I'd kill Jerome. He's already dead," he justifies, "then I'd kiss Jeremiah," he grimaces before continuing, "and I'd probably marry Oswald."

The moment he finishes his sentence Jim hears someone clear their throat behind his back. "James?"

The detective immediately recognizes the owner of the voice and his face turns bright red in a snap of a finger.

His work partner is barely containing his laughter. The bastard throws Jim an unapologetic look before he lets out, "Does Saturday sound good?"

In the middle of his embarrassment crisis, Jim manages to frown in confusion.

"For your bachelor party."

Let's just say most of Jim's stationery ends up in Harvey's face.

Oswald, on the other hand, sighs and rolls his eyes at this childish display. He is still going to ask Jim about this hypothetical marriage though — just in case.

And I'm pretty sure no one would care much about my Gobblepot fics, but I want to list them, so here they are.

1. Lost in the Rain. My magnum opus, I guess? Always wanted a case-fic, so, this is one. It was such an enormous joy to write, so many things to research, so many things to think through. Perhaps it's not the best. There were also some themes that I planned to explore in it but there wasn't any real place for them, or at least I didn't know how to, then. But I'm still so very happy with this one.

2. Rough. An incredible self-indulgence that I wrote on a work break. It was quite well-liked at the time, so I imagine not only I think it's rather good.

3. In the dark. Another self-indulgence, but written much, much later, and an experiment with style too. I wanted to try something new with my writing, something with a certain feel, and I'm quite pleased with the result. Also I can't ever get enough of the UST between them when they're both so aware of it.

4. Wild-wild West. Part of a challenge, it was an unusual theme for me to explore and I totally didn't do the wild west vibes any justice, but it's such a fun little tease~

5. Rain, maybe. Stuck in a traffic jam, having a thorny conversation, revealing some truths. I'm so in love with the ending there though XD

And here's a bonus one, because I don't know if there's a way to place it anywhere, but.

The time has come again to hold an event for our favourite boys!
