I love Jichuan and Xaiofeng’s relationship so much the more I think about it. I love how both of them don’t match the typical perception of what a “hero” is. I love how Jichuan put so much trust in Xiaofeng despite otherwise. I love how there’s an unspoken notion of duty between them and the roles they fulfill in Northwild where they don’t acknowledge it with each other, but it’s still clearly understood by both of them. They honestly give off old friend vibes where they may not know each other on a deeper level, but their shared similarities make them understand the other person well enough. Like companions perhaps
